New Orleans moved up, uh oh, might be no more DER! WIN! JAMES! Or might be for DE Marcus Davenport.

 

Who dat the Saints coming up for?

 

He is super raw. Do you trust this coaching staff do teach him properly?

Saints won last years draft IMO and I have a feeling what they do here is going to be another absolute win of a pick.

Interesting because, if I recall, two issues:


1.) We already have a Marcus Davenport who was just given his fifth year option.


Most importantly though.


2.) Neither Tomlin or Colbert were at his Pro Day or even had him for a pre draft visit; any pass rusher notwithstanding.



Not going to happen.

The signs are there for certain.


Both Tomlin and Colbert were at his Pro Day and Pittsburgh has not shied away from drafting based on athleticism and upside.


Big question: how far does he fall?

Davenport has almost the exact measurements and 40 as Dupree. Interested to see his progresssion...

These teams over think things and fall in love with guys and just destroy their future by moving up. That's why we always stay put and get a guy who falls.
