I can see another 13-3 with that schedule. As long as we get the defense figured out and stay healthy that is.

7-9 Tomlin's first losing season. Tough schedule. Another slow start with the 1st W Sept 30 vs Baltimore. Hope I'm wrong.

    :hmm:

Five teams that were in the playoffs a season ago return in addition to having a tie for the 25th most difficult schedule makes this season look arduous?

Intriguing indeed. For me, 10-6 is the floor and 13-3 is the ceiling; 12-4 being the most realistic for me.

I was hoping we'd play the Bengals during the first 4 weeks during Burfect's suspension. Oh well, maybe JuJu knocks him out of the game again before he had a chance to injure somebody.

    :brood:

Last game I saw in person was when they came out to play the Raider and laid a huge turd. I gotta say i'm really pissed they have us traveling out west and play the pats the following weekend.

I plan to go and so, while I'm not gonna presume to suggest that anyone not be pessimistic (would have abandoned this board long ago! :-D )

Burfict starting yet again with a 4 game suspension so was hoping Bungles were in first 4 games.

    At Jags, at Saints tough.

That schedule is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde lol The first half is pretty favorable but the backend is rough. I'm thinking 11-5.

Last years schedule was an absolute cakewalk compared to this one. All the NFC south games are easily 50/50 with some like the saints I don't give no chance to win. The AFC west games will be tough as well. I say 10-6 is the record. I do think we will beat the Pat's this time though.

Raiders, Bucs, Patriots and Saints are definite losses. Steelers never win in Oakland, Bucs are the sub-.500 team Tomlin always loses to and Saints with Brees own the Steelers. Patriots... need I say a word?

My stepson lives in downtown SF. I have cousins in Montara, Pt. Richmond, Pleasanton and Livermore. The only one who cares about football at all, is a Raiders fan as my family was when we lived in Pleasanton in the mid 60s!

At least we have 11 days before going to Jacksonville. Not sure if that's a good thing though.
