I do love how he is so much into the whole Pgh thing. It is very cool. I also dig how the Pgh-ers appreciate and love him.

    It warms the heart.

I`m hoping he starts to at least walk soon. I`m concerned about his rate of progress.

I know. I am still just holding out hope he can live a somewhat normal life, where he can walk without aids. There is a part of me that wonders if the coaches could have been more firm on making him knock off those head-down tackles. I know it's taboo to even say out loud, but for as many times as we saw him do it, I can't help but wonder if they could have been more firm in making him stop that. We will never know.

As in its taking too long? His progress is nothing short of miraculous IMO. The man was paralyzed just 5 months ago.

Standing on his own is a huge accomplishment and as far as I know, he is walking, just not unassisted yet. Or maybe he is, they are pretty guarded with his progress.

I dunno, it was a freak accident. How many hits do you see with somebody leading with their head? 40-50 a game?

He is rock star here in the STEEL CITY. Even if he doesn't make it the whole way back
He could still work for the Steelers or UPMC in some capacity.

Having Geno in full beast mode and Sid doing Sid things didn't hurt either

It's obvious that Shazier need's to have mandatory attendance and cheerleader duties at ALL Pen's game from now on.

So can he walk on his own? If so that's great news. Either way glad to see that this guy isn't giving up.
