I expect the Steelers to draft one of these guys:
    Vander Esch
    Rashaan Evans
    Genard Avery
    Malik Jefferson
    Fred Warner

Unless Fred Warner receives a pre draft visit, sadly, he has to be omitted.

Then again, plenty of time remaining and age does matter to the Steelers. Fingers crossed as I believe Warner is a big sleeper linebacking prospect; Genard Avery doubly so.

Genard Avery is interesting. Used to play DL. He was a state champ in wrestling and a gym rat. 4.59 40yrd dash, 36 inch vert, 124 in broad jump, and 6.9 three cone. Explosive and fast for a guy his size at 6’1, 250. Could be a gem.

He's the guy I want, move down 40 spots and pick up some extra picks and take him in the middle of the 2nd.

According to Walter football ....Jefferson is the only prospect as of now that we have met with at the combine, pro day and private work out.....yikes. Now while I will admit I have done no reconnaissance on him myself the reputation is of a guy who isn't really sure he wants to play football ( that's what I've read)
We better be sure he's sure if we are taking him at 28.

For LVE it is saying pro and private I thought we met with him at the combine as well?

Edit: after further review BTSC is saying LVE was a combine visit and Jefferson was not....

I’m hoping Vander Esch falls to us. I wouldn’t mind moving up a few spots to make sure we get him.

I think Jefferson is an insane talent. He is the closest player in this draft outside of the top 2 to what Shazier did for this defense. He is fast and explosive. If, and this is a big if, he wants to really play and win. If he gets his head on straight. This kid I think is better than every other prospect than the top 2 and might be close to the top 2 on talent alone. Does he want to play? I don't know, but if he does he would be hard to pass up IMO.

Yeah he did but the chart I saw said no combine visit but after further review there was indeed. There was also a false report about meeting Jefferson somewhere either Pro. , Private or combine which wasn't true.

Like I've said I haven't done anything on Jefferson and all I really heard was if he really wants to play.
Idk if he's as good as you say he is,we might have to roll the dice. Boom or Bust. If you are right and we guess right it could be a game changer from how it sounds....maybe I'll take a look see. Thanks

He has talent. I think he has lacked coaching since going to college. He was the #1 ranked LB out of HS ahead of Smith and Edmunds. I have read the stuff about desire as well, but I think the talent is there. Let's put it this way, I would rather draft him at 60 and get another stud at 28 than overdraft someone at 28 and regret it. I think he is still there at 60, but we shall see.

    Yep.

Cincinnatti also is a team that generally picks from a Power Five Conference. However, with their success of William Jackson III, I would leave nothing to chance for either Evans or LVE.

Within that same vein, while they need a linebacker, they desperately need some offensive tackle help. Connor Williams is still my personal target for them; Kolton Miller the same.
