There was a story today on the Penguins Facebook feed about the decal they will wear on their helmets honoring a young man from Canada who had a rare and painful skin disease who despite his condition was always upbeat and a joy to be around. He was the spokesmen for his disorder and help raise huge amounts of money for the charity not for himself but for younger children. He unfortunately passed away this week due to an infection. brought tears to my eyes reading about this young man and none of which I would have known with out social media.

He comes across really well. Sense of humour, sidesteps awkward questions without platitudes, offers to meet up with everyone for a sandwich.
