Beckham is my favorite player and the guy I try to model my game after but HELL NO. The wr position is of the least of concern if they trade for Beckham they should then be trading for earl Thomas or someone on defense of that caliber. Only argument they could make is if they realise the defense is just that bad and they will just try outscore everyone...

 

I'd rather have a Hines Ward/Wes Welker type receiver. We've already got Brown and Juju and some guy named, MartavIus(?) Hell, I'd rather have Amendola!

 

give me a guy who runs good routes over speed all day. how do you think brown gets open? speed is great to have but a guy who runs the route and is where the qb needs him to be, I will take that all day.

OP you can't spend all of your salary cap on offense, AB makes 17 million and Beckham wants 20 million . Besides there isn't enough footballs to keep those guys happy.

OBJ is incredible route runner. He is wide open every play. Dropping 3 balls a game a hurt him. He is probably most explosive wr ever to step on field since randy moss.........

Troy is overrated. Yes I went there. Not saying he was bad but got beat many times and didn't appear to have the arm strength to make a normal tackle which is why he would overcompensate.

Why do people downgrade MB?

Ok, he misses games due to drug suspension, he's back in the line up for half a season and gets benched for a game for comments detrimental. He gets tackled when a defender waves a pinky at him. He spent half the season looking like the playbook was written in Chinese and he couldn't understand it. Despite lengthy suspensions he thinks he's elite.

Other than that, he's a perennial All-Pro on the fast track to the HOF.

Did you see him play his first 5 years? You couldnt have and make that statement. Nobody ever played the position like he did. His body gave out later. That is why he leveled off but even then was top 3

 

Na it is a fact, look it up. And in those 3 years he is only behind brown and julio so I would say that makes him pretty special........

 

So brown and julio are more explosive if u go by numbers only? Cause i dont watch him much now but see him a ton in college and i would take brown over him all day every day so for me that makes brown the best.

Where did I say he was better than Brown???? I said his numbers for a receiver there first 3 years in the league are the best ever. It is a fact. The guy is a frigging beast. I did not say he was better than brown. The only reason Brown is better though is cause he catches everything and beckam does not........ Beckam is getting 20 million a year very soon so I do not understand how I am making ridiculous statements......
