I find the Dolphins trade an interesting idea. I know
Martavis started acting more like a professional during the second half of year. But who knows if he can keep it up next year if he feels he’s not getting the ball like he wants.

    I'd trade for a safety.

I feel we can land a affordable WR that can help us in FA or draft.

MB is still under his very affordable rookie deal so what sense does it make to trade him for a slightly lesser talented wr on year three of his four year deal ubless some draft picks or additional players are involved. It makes little sense from a cap relief standpoint

Probably because we aren't going to resign him... maybe we can get something for him... plus he had a rough year last year with a lot of ups and downs.

That is still a bad deal and KC and Omar aren't that dumb. You have MB a highly skilled wr for one more year at a cheap price. You don't give that away to another team in your conference for a slightly less talented player at the same position who costs more unless there is more to go along with it.

Bryant would be very happy to get traded to any team, it gives him a chance to get a long term contract for 15-20 mill and he would make a lot more than he would get paid for playing here next year, plus if we can get a safety from another team we would be happy as well....

That Bryant for Parker rumor is the same as the Mike Tomlin is thinking of retiring this offseason rumor. Have you guys heard that one?

we are already down eli rogers, why would we delete our WR corp any further? that leaves DHB as our 3rd option. ahhhhhhh NO.

I was looking at this from a locker room perspective. Who knows what MB might do next year if he’s not getting his way. Plus Parker is a more physical wife receiver than MB. Doesn’t have the speed of course

I think even MB would tell you he didn't have a great year. My hope would be that he will come back and hopefully have a break out season and get paid (by someone else) after next season. Besides he will be a Super Bowl Champ then as well. Looks pretty good on a resume...:hehehe:

They won't. How much if traded can we get in return as far as a pick? Now if its a 3rd I listen but it won't be that. Although I do have faith in Colbert to find a diamond in the later rounds.

Bryant would fail a drug test just by entering the Miami airport.

If they can get a staring saftey or ILB for Bryant I would do it. I wouldn't do it for Parker though. I would rather have MB for one more year. If the deal is for Devante Parker and a decent pick it might be worth considering.

Now, half the board is going to have tweaked backs from doing handsprings!

I agree he is a good WR for the price and it doesn't make sense to do that deal now. I thought he played better late in the season when he started seeing more balls down field.
I mean he is tall and fast so why not continue to throw bubble screens when he is standing still.
If he was used more as a true wide out he would be happier. I think he is under used most games as Ben has to get Brown his 12 catches, its in their contracts.

If u can get a good safety? I wouldnt hesitate to do it. No sense in keeping him and letting him walk. No way we pay him what he will want

Agree 100 percent! He played well the second half of the year when he got over his crybaby act and will play at or above that level next year as he could raise his stock somewhat!Let’s get as much as we can out of him on the cheap as I don’t see us getting much for him in a trade! No way we get a third for him with his past problems and attitude. Why do I think he will behave next year and play like he did the second half of this past year?To raise his stock in free agency with no blemishes!
