Sorry about the error on the previous post but the great news is Adam Schefter just reported this morning that not only is Ryan getting up
on his feet again but is engaging in a regular walking routine and is making incredible progress!!!Great news!!!!

Grateful to the doctors and therapists who are working with him. Just the fact that he can stand and is walking even with a walker is solid news.

As far as playing again? It's not going to happen this season. Or possibly ever. That's fine with me. As long as he can live a productive life that's all that matters...

If Ryan is unable to play football again you can be sure he will be on the sidelines as some kind of coaching assistant for defense

Rooney said as much. One way or the other, he will be with the Steelers.

I tend to agree with this. He was an awesome player, but the way he consistently tackled leading with the crown of his helmet, he was playing on borrowed time. Hope he has the ability to walk and function normally again and just stays away from playing the game.

I hope he recovers to the point he can make the decision on if he wants to play football again or not.
