Does anyone have any sort or form of back history to this man? Like what specifically does he teach defensive backs in terms of coverage?

Interesting that Bradley's brother Jim is the long-time team surgeon for the Steelers.

Oh? Fewest passing yards in the spread based, pass happy PAC 12 at UCLA? Intriguing and enticing indeed. :smiley1:

Those UCLA defensive backs were quite sound in their tackling technique if I recall, there coverage skills very good as well.

Artie and Sean can now indirectly be put on notice. No more excuses. Show up or be shown out.

I either read the title too fast or Tom Brady lives in my head because I read it that Tom BRADY was the new DB coach. :lolol:

Definitely not a plug and play hire and more of a teacher type. Surprised by the moves outside of the DL 3-4 tree that are happening.

Very interesting. Helluva a recruiter of course it didn't help UCLA Bruins defense too much last year.

Will young guys making boatloads of money listen to what he is selling? I am leery of this hire.

Quick evaluation by those of you that break down the D and scheme. Does the moves today move the needle more towards the Tampa 2 or just more hybrid sub packages ?

It's a surprise hire that's for sure, I was expecting them to hire a NFL guy. Maybe this is what the secondary needs a older coach who can teach them fundamentals, with Lake the secondary would commit the same mistakes over and over.

    WE ARE................. PENN ST........

Wow! What a nice surprise to log on here and read this. Ive been away from my phone all night. It was great news to log on and see this. As a Penn St guy I love this hire. But besides the Penn St ties, Bradley is an awesome coach. You will not find anyone more detailed oriented than Tom Bradley. It seems like the Steelers are focused on bringing quality people into the organization. I like all the hires so far. Maybe fans aren't the only ones who realize this team lacks focus at times.

It would be nice if the coaches were allowed to work with them during the offseason if the players wanted to.

OTA's are nice, but that's the first time these guys will be working with him and I'd like the coaches to be able to get with their guys that need help and work on technique more.
    lacking
I think that's why you're seeing fundamentals lacking. They used to work with the guys all year.
