Gene Steratore according to wikipedia is born 46 miles away from Pittsburgh so maybe he was ware of that happened in Steelers - New England game back in desember when he reviewed that Ertz TD play.

But I generally like Steratore as ref unlike many others.

No problemo Coastal, there's very little more you could do to them that Philly didn't do in spades Sunday night. Congrats Philly from top to bottom. That's how you build a team, coach a team and play a meaningful game as a team. So impressive on all fronts. Now how do the Steelers sign Foles?

BOB RYAN of the Boston Globe just said expect an unusual off season from pats because the ESPN report is true and there is an actual turmoil in that locker room .

Looks like people might finally be tired of Belichick. He dumped a lot of good defensive players the last few years. While we can sit here and say, yah, but it worked last year and 2 years before, well, maybe but it cost them this year. And I attribute the last 2 they won to complete idiocy by two head coaches in Atlanta and Seattle, especially Pete Carroll. That call at the 1 is by far THE WORST play call I have ever seen in any game in football.

I said in another thread that stunt Bill pulled with Butler could cost him the locker room.

    Good.

Hopefully........I could easily see players rallying around each other. Problem is he's a FA so it probably won't have a effect but I hope somehow it does....

Even if he leaves, if Im on that team Id be like wait a minute, what if this prick does that to me the next time we are in the SB. Nobody likes playing for Bill, they love the results but its not fun being a NE Patriot and now they'll be like, I kill myself for this guy and now he may not even play me in the biggest game?

Also, if Im a FA, im not signing there.

Bill opened a can of worms.

I don't know about that. I didn't see much defense played at all last night by either team. Not a brand of football that I care for, but it's exactly what Goodell and the league wants: lots of TDs for the casual fan to be excited about. If the Steelers can put up 42 on the league's best defense I like their chances against anyone don't you?

What was great is that Brady's turnover sealed the game for the Eagles :lolol:.

To be honest, until that fumble happened I was convinced Brady would tie the game.

Even after the clear fumble I half expected the refs to rule it "Tuck Rule 2.0" and give the ball back to the Pats.

He certainly tried to sell it as the tuck rule with his exaggerated follow through. His arm wasnt even moving forward when the ball was hit.
