shocked to see Butler on the bench...must be in the dog house.
would love to see him come to the steelers. one of few that can shut down Antonio Brown.
Small CB, but can cover well in man coverage. similarly built like Mike Hilton.
    should be a free agent.

Maybe the Steelers can start a GoFundMe to try to raise money to sign him.

I need to start a GoFundMe page for the amount of treatment I will need after I succumb to severe intoxication poisoning should we do so.

Will be interesting to find out if it was for being late or missing a meeting or some such thing.

Supposedly it was a "game-plan" decision.

Translation: You were not doing what I, Bill Belichick, wanted you to do. As such, this is your "lesson".

Strong discipline from a head coach wow is that what that looks like.

That "discipline" borderlines on the level of arrogance for Bill.

Sit a number one corner for a number two due to "game-plan" decisions? Not buying it.

Whatever the reason, it wasn't a winning decision.

Yes, which is how you build a team. You don't do it by letting everyone do their own thing, and hope it works out. The reason they're always in the Superbowl is that you buy in, or else pay the consequences. No exceptions.

Then maybe you can explain why Eric Rowe gave up a touchdown.

Given the circumstances, Malcom Butler would have not done such a thing. In fact, the majority of analysts and fans among the NFL seems to think so.

Bill Belichick showcased his greatest downfall; his own self-righteousness betrayed him. How befitting that he and Brady share that very trait.

Now that I think of it,

Isn't this guy supposed to be the "most arrogant" coach ever?

Nope, he’s not as good as what he’s going to ask for. Don’t get me wrong, he’s better that the guy they sat him for.

They tend to give him lots of help against good receivers.

I'm with Lizard72!!!! He is WAY OVERRATED!!! He is better than what we have but not by much and not for the type of money he is going to command. Lizard72 is also spot on in that he gets over the top help with every deep threat receiver, I never saw him one on one with a top tier receiver without safety help.

When I see players spouting off to the media like this I just think, whoever that guy plays for needs to be more like the Patriots, because you never see their guys doing that.

Yeah for sure, I was wondering why he was crying during the anthem and then later on we found out he wasn't playing. We all talk about the Patriot way and how BB has control of his team but the last few weeks we are finding out different. I wonder if the truth will come out and I would love to know the real reason......

For the record I am saying this, last night was the beginning of the end for the Pat's. Some in house problems, losing coaches, age of Brady.....at some point it has to end and I think now is the time. The Steelers need to go all in cause next year could belong to us........

He didnt have a good year so the kind of money he wants isnt going to happen with the patriots, they paid corner stephon gilmore 65M for 5 years so that bank is closed for Butler who isnt even ranked as a top 10 corner he is ranked number 20, dont need him here and especially for the money he is wishing for....

I was actually shocked that Butler wasn't playing. I mean for goodness sake Pats were start giving up tons of yards and not shutting down any of the Eagles WR's at all.

He will be some where else next season I bet.

I disagree. I'll believe it when I see it. Every year is supposed to be the year the Pats are supposed to crumble.... and they go on to win 13-14 games and #1 seed.

It would be great for the NFL if the Patriots missed the playoffs, but I don't see it happening until Brady retires.
