Shouldn't have cut him? They should have frozen him in carbonite and put him in The Great Hall. That dude won 3 Super Bowls single-handedly!

I just don't understand how he wasn't cool with sharing the rock here, but he shares it with even more guys in Philly? I would have thought he would have walked off their team just like he did to us, but he stuck around for some reason?

I think it is a testament to locker room leadership and the shenanigans we have going on with our team shows a lack of it.

Nope, he wasn’t going to get the kind of carries he got today or his year, he’ll last year, in Pittsburgh. They just don’t do it like that.

I think they should, but they don’t!

I believe that when he went to Philly he basically said he'd achieved everything he wanted to, so he was going to a new team which he liked and saw where he fitted in their system. Also that he could have gone back to the Pats if he wanted.

I think in Pittsburgh he had ambitions of either being a starter, or being a big contributor. When Bell emerged as what Bell was, that wasn't going to happen and he got stroppy. I think his reasons are as simple as: both the Patriots and the Eagles have far more of a committee approach to RB than we do (or ever have, even when Bettis and Parker were here), and both are championship-calibre.

No it not that . It's we have a cheerleading head coach like Bradshaw said . I'm happy for Blount . It shows you have damn dumb of a coach we have

Funny how when Blount leaves Pittsburgh, he all of a sudden becomes a model citizen. No arrests for DUI and possession of weed. No corrupting the younger, more impressionable members of the team. No walking away from your teammates before the game is over. I guess he just felt like he could let his hair down here since we have, you know, a player's coach who let's his players express themselves. Yep, that Coach T, he's just one of the boys. :thumbs up:

It's hard to say what his role would have been here since he didn't really give it any time to pan out. That was the year Bell really blew up career-wise and a lot of that was not having a decent backup one Blount exited. Who really knows in the end?

Minus the green font, as I have an older I pad. Bliunt has always been on the straight and narrow, it wAs Bell who did the sabotaging.

He wasn't going to get split carries. Wasn't even a standard on the short yardage when he was on the team. The stats over the last few seasons back that up as well.

At the time he walked off, he got like zero carries that game. He got more carries in both NE and Philly than here. Don't forget, Tomlin is king of the fake promises and that is why players bolt, like Blount and Harrison. Tomlin makes fake promises and then doesn't have the stones to talk to players about it. He is a weak leader.

Philly and NE didn't have stud RB in front of Blount like the Steelers had with Bell, screw Blount he quit on the team.
