This is just the best. A true miracle. God has plans for this young man.

 

Great news; That is a start. Now the tough part begins. All serious life threating situations are different but I was hospitalized for three months when I had polio in 1950. Being released was good and the recovery took another six months. We had to teach each muscle how to operate again as polio had paralyzed me almost completely. I made a complete recovery which was amazing. No iron lung and no partial damage. So I wish him the best and hope he recovers as much as possible as quickly as possible. He Is ready to go on the road to recovery full scale,

 

He looks pretty solid standing there even though Ben is holding him a little. If he was completely paralyzed his legs would not look that sturdy. Maybe we do not have to replace shazier after all. Looks like at worse he will walk again......

 

Great news. Still wouldn't count on Shazier playing again, and I'm ok with that. Now we know who's been skipping leg day at the gym.

 

That’s fantastic news!!He’s made great strides and his attitude is so positive!Less than two months from when that horrific injury happened and he’s up on his feet already (with a little help).This is really good news!!!

I think Ryan is trying to come back and play though... and that scares me.

 

Why would that scare you? He is gonna keep his head up hopefully. That was a fluke accident. If he could run he will play and it will be one of greatest stories ever....

 

Good for Ryan! Here is hoping for a full recovery whether it involves football or not!

It's about time we had some positive news on here. I wish him all the best in what might be a long road to full recovery.

As much as I love the guy and loved watching him play. I would also not really care or more likely prefer he makes the wise choice and counts his blessings and doesn't take the risk of playing again. Why test fate again.
