They clearly didn't want the Steelers to win for whatever reason. There was plenty of calls on the Jags that could have been made. False start on their opening drive. They called a false start on the same guy in the Pats game. They call 0 offensive holdings on the Jags and called one on our d-line. Yes, no holdings on the Jags the whole game but one on our d-line. They called holding on the Jags against the Pats. No PI on Juju but they called PI on perfect defense where he made Cooks run out of bounds and a ball no where near him.

So you tell me.

maybe BB just hypnotizes the refs...yeah, that's it. no wait, I know, Bush (W) is a closet pats fan, wanted them to be champs, so he had the military blow up the twin towers to cause 91/1, so the patriots could win, and then it wouldn't look odd when they kept winning after the refs were paid. and then the league made sure the NFL spent millions to suspend Brady just to make it look like the league hates the pats.....

or maybe, just maybe, the pats are a very well coached team with good players that is prepared for just about anything, and is mentally tough enough to overcome most anything?

god knows we haven't had such a team here for so long its easy to understand how we wouldn't recognize one.

yep, I could see how the nfl wouldn't want the rating BONANZA that would have been the pats/steelers rematch for the right to go to the SB. They definitely wanted a pats/jags afccg that everyone knew the pats would win...

Welcome aboard StandUp. I think you'll have a lot of fun here. Steve, our Founder and Administrator (and Savior) has done a "Stand Up" job of creating a website and message board that tries to keep the peace more than any other sites I/we have experienced. Most of us prefer the filtered atmosphere more than an unfiltered room (e.g. Steeler Fury). Have fun, let your hair down, and vent/or analyze as you choose. Lots of very knowledgeable folks here - a hundred times more knowledgeable than I ever hope to be and I've been watching and listening to Steeler football since the late 50's (1950's not 1850's)

Green is used for sarcasm so others unable to read between the lines don't fly off the handle. I interpreted the first line of your post to be intentionally over the top to convey your dislike of those ripping the ownership et al for failed seasons (i.e. not leading to SB victories). There are some around here who wish certain members would be required to type exclusively in green font. LOL Have a blast and remember, whatever ReelSteel says, just take the opposite view and you'll be safe.
