Don't know. He had a few short yardage touches way early in the year then nothing. Sent to the PS after being released... Ain't heard nothing since til now. He showed some cool things in pre season. Nothing eye popping but seemed to be easy to root for after making the cut.

Probably better to try for some more touches elsewhere... Hard to crack into the level of getting the only 3 touches not given to Bell in every game hahahahahaha

I remember looking at Griffey but can't remember if it was good or bad so I went back to last years Shrine game and found this:

    1. Finally, Arizona's Trey Griffey never experienced the career many expected when he committed to Rich Rodriguez's squad. His best year came in 2014, when he caught 31 passes for 405 yards.

However, he took full advantage of the handful of targets thrown his way this week. Griffey displayed a tremendous ability to make difficult catches. Obviously, teams will love his bloodline as Ken Griffey Jr.'s son, but he needed to show more this week and did so.

Catching the football is important. Sometimes, it's more important to watch how a receiver is used or how he responds the few times he's featured.

As I am looking at this list I have a few observations, wow did we sign a bunch of WR's hmmmmm..

Signed Canaday which means maybe we won't be tempted to draft one.....:lolol:

Last someone needs to tell Kelsey the way to start is not sign the contract but sit at home and wait for the Steelers to call you and then you will be a starter, Sorry couldn't resist!!!!

Ok the last 2 were for fun but the first one wow

Ironically my predominant memory of him is doing corner rushes and not much springs to mind of him defending in the passing game.

He broke up two passes to Gronk in the Patriots game.

42 tackles. 6passes defended. 4sacks and a forced fumble. 2 of those passes defended were against gronk and one of those was in the end zone. Not a bad year for an udfa futures pickup.

On 4th down vs the Jags they ran Bell wide right, his patient style of running isn't effective sometimes.

He is Ramon's heir no doubt.

If nothing else, rock solid depth.

Sorry to see Watson go I liked his hit the hole hard two hands on the ball get what you can straight ahead style.
I hope he does well and has a career like John Kuhn we somehow couldn't use him and 14 yrs later he is still in the league with GB and now in NO.

Nothing to ashamed of to just load up on big guys and run the ball straight ahead on 4th and 1.

Sorry I still miss the BUS.
