I've been saying this all along... keep Munchak and promote him to OC/assistant HC. Let Munchak pick the new O-line coach.

I agree with those who say Haley wasn't the problem. Most of the time, he was a good OC. Ben was the one who stunk up the joint in the first half of '17.

Haley should get scooped right up, if not as an OC, an HC. Let's see how he does elsewhere.

What would happen to John Mitchell then? He's currently the assistant HC.

Maybe Corona can just have the Haley hot line now that Jon Gruden will be busy with that mess called the Oakland Raiders.

I don't get all the hate for Haley. Offense was not the problem.

I think this has mostly to do with the poor relationship between Haley and Ben.

I'd keep Haley over Butler any day of the week. Say what you want, but even with Shazier there look at the first Jags game and that Chicago game. Stopping the run was a huge issue even prior to Shaziers injury. Butler is a scrub and should not be allowed back.

Been rumored some of our other staff have left the last few years due to Haley as well... Who knows.

Haley gone for two reasons....Ben and because his contract was up so they didn't have to fire him and pay him. That's why Butler still has his job for no reason other than the Rooneys being cheap....ridiculous.

Don't forget to give Butler his walking papers. In 3 years the defense has gone backwards. Time for him to take a long stroll and get on with his life's work.

I see some say Butler should stay, but to me we look the exact same as last year. We have no secondary. Maybe a new secondary coach is in order. IDK but the defense needs tweaked

Tomlin: "I have made the decision to not renew the contract for offensive coordinator Todd Haley. I would like to thank Todd for his contributions to our offense the past six years, and we wish him the best in his coaching future."

Not having a QB sneak audible is a fireable offense in my book.

I heard former QBs talk about calling their own plays vs when Bradshaw did; they said just calling the formations is too much these days. Boomer said he called his own plays for a while and it was just too much for him to handle.

That's not a valid reason for keeping the coach.

    He needs to go. Period.

If true, this is all Ben. If Ben wants him, then I suppose its a good hire but for Christ sake he needs to ditch Haley's system.
