say they own Ben and he will not be able to throw on them. I say we make them come up on some pulling olinemen and make them tackle in 10 degree weather. Teach them warm weather boys a thing about getting your skull knocked into some frozen turf!

Both great players, run it down their throats, which in turn opens

up play action. Business is booming.

Quick 5 yd slants behind the LB's and Vance down the seam will open up the run and keep these good DB's chasing us all day!

Just hope Ben doesn't coming out swinging with the deep ball, they'll be expecting it. Give them a heavy dose of the dink and donk, then drop the odd bomb on them with the playaction. Do some flea flickers with Bell too that would F them up

Dont take the bait. Run Bell and then run him some more, open up the passing game.

Only way they beat us is if their defense scores and they know it. So they are trolling Ben.

You know Bens going to want to prove week 5 was an aberration. Just hope he’s smart and doesn’t force throws, only way they beat us is if Ben throws........3-5 picks

Run the ball and dump offs. Deep ball is silly vs them

That's why we need to disguise the deep ball. Flea flickers and play action. If Ben goes into the shotgun with 4 or 5 wide it doesn't take a genius to know what's coming.

My comment was in jest. But I digress. I expect them to come out aggressive against Jacksonville to move the ball down the field quickly. Send a message that we are better than they.

This offense is always in the shotgun. Heck, they couldn’t get out of it when Hubbard couldn’t snap the ball.

4 wide could also include quick routes.

Ben can beat them don't be so fast to loose confidence in Ben and his ability. Short dink and dunk and you will frustrate them two DB's and they will cheat up setting up the big play and a smile on Ben face. Not to mention the swag that will add to this team when we play next week. Dumping off to Bell is just as good as a run, I do not think we are going to have much luck vs this dline running inside. jmo

Ben will most definitely have to rely on Bell and his tight ends this game, but there's absolutely no doubt that Brown is good enough to get own against ANY DB in the game. He's the best for a reason.

Also, Ben is a freaking hall of famer. If he's on his game, no one is shutting him down.

I'm talking about throwing the ball 55 times against the best secondary in football. Ben should be around 25 pass attempts and a heavy dose of Bell.

Attacking a teams strength while ignoring its weakness is lunacy.

I think Bell will get 25 to 30 touches, with half of those coming from short swing passes to get him out in space. So I expect Ben's pass attempts numbers to be in the 30 to 40 range.

I think Bell will have at least 25-30 rushes plus 10 targets in the passing game. I wouldn’t be surprised if he rushes 35 times in this one.

Jacksonville has a really talented linebacking core, but I have no doubt that Bell can do crazy damage in the passing game.

They have 2 weeks of rust on them, ( AB with 4) they need to get back into the rhythm , I wouldn't force anything at the beginning we already know how that turns out. Need to soften them up and get them thinking, I would just stick to the simple stuff at first and get a feel for the game.

Is it my imagination or has bell been targeted a lot less this season than last year? The numbers you are suggesting match well with my memory of how he was used last year but not this year's.

85 catches on 106 targets this year vs 75 catches on 94 targets last year. I think your perception is because they didn't start targeting him as much in the passing game until a few games into the season this year.

He has a career high 85 receptions this year. Not sure about targets.

Bell is interesting stat wise as there tends to be quite a fluctuation from game to game. He’s been used fairly strategically per opponent.

Was going to state if this is the best way to provoke Ben then this game is already going to be in our favor. Their statement alone is ambiguous and highlights their greatest weakness; stopping the run.

All the more reason Bell is the best in the game. Their really is no "Le'Veon Bell Counter" as it currently stands; player or scheme being non factors.

A defensive coordinators best bet is to attempt to slow him down. Even when that happens though, that just allows Brown, JuJu and McDonald to tear holes in the passing game; redirecting the initial issue back to sqaure one.

I agree Ben shouldn't be throwing 55 times however if Ben has 35 att I am good with that. I am worried that the Dline will bottle up the run, I think they get overlooked up front because they are so good behind them. With that said to me it isn't how many times Ben throws the ball it is the distance. Like I said the quick pass in this offense is just about unstoppable. I also like the no huddle/hurry up in this game. jmo
