Hargrave and Walton will do just fine rotating in. Also I’ve read a couple reports that say Burns was more of a scare than anything. Of all the positions to lose a player at right now hose two are about the least of my concernsaswe have plenty of depth there.

POR 15 can help with that...

Not good news but I have faith in Sutton. At least no ligament damage.

Tuitt has an elbow injury and reports are not good. Alualu has been a spark and will be fine starting. I feel Tuitt has been playing banged up and has just been present and not the game changer we expected this season. Hopefully not season ending.

I think tuitt might be done. Bicep injury now this, probably ineffective at this point.

walton has been playing well this year and so has alualu. big dan may be as useful as possible against this type of offense. beyond this week though, not so much.

i like sutton starting anyway. haden, sutton, hilton, davis are all the best we have right now. sensabaugh can tackle well also and moving him into a slot role in the dime may be better than him on the outside. allen has been here all year as well and may see a limited amount of snaps. mitchell is still the concern for me but at least we are not going against a pass heavy team this week.

Burns is still the Steelers' second-best corner, and he is far better in man-to-man than zone. Losing him does hurt the secondary.

Walton and Hargrave aren't awful, but neither is much of a playmaker. Seeing them get more snaps is not good, though it is fair to say Tuitt hasn't been that much better.

Sounds like at least Smith is going to play.

    Maybe

Their two corners will probably play but both are on the injury report:

Cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Colvin were also listed on the Jags’ injury report due to an achilles injury and an illness, respectively. Ramsey sustained his injury during Sunday’s game against the Bills, while Colvin played in the game with his illness. Colvin was unable to finish the game, however, and Tyler Patmon was called on to fill in for him.

I kind of wanted to see what Sutton had, so I'm not too upset if Burns misses this game.
Tuitt can be a difference maker. But, let's face it, he really hasn't been this year. I assume this means that McCullers finally gets a hat this game. And really, with what the Jags do on offense he's kind of suited well to eat up a blocker or two in the run game.

Burns injury diagnosed as a slight hyperextension. He said he will be good to go on Sunday. Tuitt was not in the locker room. Injury is to his right elbow.

Tuitt has seemed somewhat ineffective most of the year. I don't think he's been 100% all season.

Just curious. Do you think the Steelers should even bother showing up?

Sounds like they are both playing. That's great news. I wasn't worried as much about Tuit because there isn't much drop of when Alualu comes in. But Sutton is still a question mark for me. I'd much rather have Artie in there.

I'm concerned with them running at Dupree and now a banged up Tuitt. I hope they have a plan to swap Watt and Dupree occasionally for different looks. Give them a chance early to see who can capitalize on a favorable match up....

Just curious. Has reading comprehension always been a problem for you?

The Steelers are favored, as they should be, but this is going to be a tough matchup. That's all I've been saying.
