This happens every year lol I actually really like Sutton, so I won’t cry if Burns can’t go, but man...

He might not be able to get burned on Sunday? That's a shame!

Worse news is that Stephon Tuitt left practice with an arm in a sling.

Not good, especially from a depth perspective...

It's a shame this current group of Steelers will never go through the playoffs completely healthy during Ben's final years. It already won't happen this season without Shazier. I'm worried AB won't be up to full speed either, and one tweak away from re-injuring his calf. Losing Tuitt to anything significant would be a killer. This group will always be remembered as "what if?" if they never win a Super Bowl together.

    WTF?

Tuitt has never been right all year; if he has a bicep tear, it will never heal before he gets cut on; I think he's been trying to play through it but I see why he is underachieving. That thing ain't gonna heal until surgery. I had a buddy tear a bicep curling 225 - for reps. Animal. Had to have surgery.

What the f*ck happened? Was it the all-too-common football injury where one player lands hard on his elbow in front of another player who has to dodge quickly out of the way and tweaks his knee as his does it?

How come rust never gets to the cheatriots?

I mean that jerkhead is about to break the Madden curse, there has to be some rust.

I would be happy enough if we could get through the playoffs with no MAJOR injury as in Bell, Brown or Ben. Throw in Pouncey and Ju Ju as critical too.

Losing Tuitt alone is pretty major if that's the case. DL is thin already

Guess maybe big Dan would get a hat... Could kick grave digger over to left end and split time with alualu as well as in the middle to split with McCullers... We've all wanted more snaps for Hargreaves (atleast earlier in the season when he was playing pretty well). Bottom line, DL is thin. DB not as much. Maybe Allen gets a hat to throw in the mix cause if Artie's down, Sensabaugh is getting some playing time behind hopefully Sutton getting a start. Still some toys to play with in the secondary. Sucks if Artie's out, but they have peeps to step in, in the least.

There goes Bortles chance of breaking the century mark in yards passing.

Artie is such a bad tackler, I think I prefer to see a Sutton or Sensabaugh in there

Some of you really are going to tremendous lengths to fool yourselves. The Steelers just lost two defensive starters the Wednesday before the first playoff game. That is a bad thing. Maybe one or both will be able to play, but right now, it's bad.

I don't think the drop-off from Burns to Sutton is huge, but Sensabaugh? Were you guys even watching when they started him? He can't tackle or cover.

Burns gets lost in zones sometimes, but he can actually cover man-to-man. His loss may only hurt a little this week, but it's a serious blow against the Patriots if the Steelers get that far.

Tuitt is even worse. Even though he has clearly been less than 100 percent this season, he's still very good player. Sure, Alualu is a fine replacement, but they don't play just three defensive linemen. This means many of Tuitt's snaps will go to Walton, Hargrave or McCullers. That is trouble, especially against a team that looks to dominate with the running game.
