You can find many different angles, but something tells me he returns next year...

Pull an Elway, win the next 2 SB, then retire. End up with 4 rings and 5 SB, one less than Brady (hopefully beating him in the process), and your legacy will be cemented!!

Of course it's not his last game at Heinz Field, he'll be playing the Titans the following Sunday. OK wishful thinking but I don't think he will retire because he has young children and that is a hell of a lot of money he will have to give back (I believe). Besides what if he and that a$$%ole up north both retire. The AFC would be wide open and the NFC would have a good shot of going on a SB winning streak.

He wore his yellow hat at the presser today, I got a good feeling about this Sunday.

So who actually expected him to say, "Yes, this is my last Sunday at Heinz Field. It's been fun"?

It's less about the actual comment and more about the context clues. That doesn't sound like someone prepared to leave, IMO.

He has two years left on his contract. I think he'll be back for '18 and possibly '19, regardless of what happens in the next few weeks.

Ben's play is one game @ a time since week 5's ignominious fail and will continue till he hits a wall. He loses Sunday Bruce gets called for a 9 hole Tee time, the rest is not hard to figure out!

Jim Wexell tells Tunch and Wolf: Ben responded to comparisons of Bortles to himself when Bortles came into league. His size, mobility, and he has the same agent...but he’s not me.

I don’t know of Wexell but he came off sounding old-school reporting and that players talk to him about things they don’t tell the national media.

Wexell stated: Pitt is 7-0 when Gilbert starts.

Marcel Darius-Buffalo let him go-2 drug suspensions and pricey contract.

Tunch and Wolf call Hilton Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

I never believed that this was his last year. No way. All that money on the table and he’s still got it.

If Ben didn't play well, we missed the playoffs, had like an 8-8 record or 9-7, I could see him saying maybe this is it.

But, he had a statistical decent season. Didn't get sacked a bunch, and the team won 13 games.

I see no reason for $19 million why you wouldn't come back next season.

But, it's time for the Steelers to get serious about a future replacement. If a decent guy falls, maybe trade up in the 2nd round and grab a him.

Kind of like what Green Bay did with Rogers when they still had Favre.

This is a QB heavy draft coming up, a lot of teams are set at QB, could be a few good ones to choose from.

I don't agree that a lot of teams are already set at QB, but if they were, and those that aren't already set draft one this spring, wouldn't that mean that there would be little competition for a QB in 2019?

We're unlikely to get a top tier QB drafting at #25-32. Yeah, it's always possible, but it's more likely to get a Mark Malone there than a Big Ben. It's also rare for a team to transition from one top QB to another like Montana-Young or Favre-Rogers. We should accept the fact that we're going to have at least a couple years of mediocre QB play post Ben. I'm just hoping that it's not another 20+ years between elite QBs like we had between Bradshaw and Ben, because I don't expect to live that much longer.
