Not only that, but convincingly. Sorry, I'm so sick of coming on here and seeing that other post title.
Everyone likes to go by that what happened before mentality. This is the playoffs, that was a regular season game.

I'm slightly nervous that they will come out flat. Not enough to lose sleep over it though. Should win by double digits easily.

Steelers are superior in every area on offense and defense except secondary. Jags corners are best I've seen since Seattle's '13 CBs.

I think they will be too charged up for this to come out flat.

Jax absolutely sucked during their first playoff game at home none-the-less. Steelers win unless they commit five turnovers.

I really believe it's going to be a completely different story than the meeting in the regular season. The Steelers were still finding their groove, and they laid a big stinky egg in that game. I don't see that happening again.

That game will be in hind sight by the end of the first half. Both teams will be amped but the Steelers will be to much for Jagoffs!!! Bortles will be sacked 4 times because he's going to do what he did to the Bills and it won't work.:dancing:

I hope not. Wish the Steelers would run up the score and have Landry Jones and Ridley in by the 4th quarter

I hope they come out smokin and score on every drive. I don't care if we win by 50 or 5.

What I don't want to happen is have someone go down with a serious injury and we limp into NE the following week. I never want anyone to get hurt but especially this weekend. I need to see us play the Patsies at full strength so that all doubt can be removed.

Thats just it, with 3 weeks off will they be clicking, if you see Ben double clutching his throws then you know he's having those corner flash backs from the last jags game. Bell needs to show up big in this game for a change and AB will have rust, so the first half will be important to get a decent lead to carry over to the second half, if not you just might see desperation set in and thats when mistakes start to happen...

Jags play that zone and hover around the ball for picks. They rely on the run to help bortles.

Stop the run and limit your turnovers and they can't do anything, seriously lol.

So far this playoff season no game was decided going into the 4th quarter. As much as I think we are the better team there is no doubt in my mind we all will be sweating balls at the start of the 4th quarter.

Bortles looked like thrash last week. He's looked bad for three weeks now. But all it takes is one Mike Mitchell missed assignment ( very possible) and/or one mistake for the DL ( Fournette is good)...and there's 14 Jags points.

Let's be clear: this is the best D the Steelers have faced since the Jags pick six party in week 5. We've seen high powered ( SB 25; SB 36; SB 37; SB 42; SB 48; and SB 50) offenses get shut down by good to great D's before.

Do I think the Steelers will win? Yes. Would I be even surprised if Jax won? not a chance.

Hey, I’ll take the win any way we get it. Blowout? Great. Last second win? Great as well.... though my heart may be overworked.

We won't get by them. We'll beat them. They hope to get by us, but they won't.

What hilarious is that they wI'll be winning by a big margin and all these guys going we don't matchup well, their defense is so good, rested a week, rusty will be singing a different tune. This one will be no don't score so much yor giving away all the good stuff, don't blow the wad before the important game, no stop, all of this before the game day thread is cold.

No reason we should not. Should we lose, we will have ourselves to blame.
