Would you like Andy Reid as Steeler head coach?

I think Reid is a good coach, but I wouldn't want him as our coach and here is why:

He consistently bails on rushing the ball, even when it is purely evident he should rush the ball more.

When K.C. started off 5-0, they were rushing Hunt a lot, including when they upset the Pats week 1. Then, in their first loss (to Pgh) they mysteriously stopped giving Hunt the rock.

Look at their losses; he barely touched the ball. Now, I realize one could argue he had less carries because they were losing, but that is simply not true. In the playoff loss to TN, they were winning but Andy decided to keep throwing the ball, instead of giving Hunt some more carries.

He did the same thing in Philly too. They had a very effective rushing game, but Andy went pass happy and they underachieved in the postseason.

It's just not smart. He falls in love with the passing game too much, even when he could win by rushing more.

No thanks. For that alone, I wouldn't want him to coach the Steelers.

Why stop there? Maybe we could could lure mediocre Marvin away from the Bungles to be the defensive coordinator and Hue Jackson from the Stains to be the offensive coordinator.

He runs the west coast offense, where they script the first 15 plays. Maybe he is dyslexic and scripts the first 51 plays

 

Did i miss something? Just to answer, no way. I wouldnt trade tomlin for anyone. Including that dude up north. Tomlin is a grest coach and better man.

Andy reid wouldnt be on a list of 20 for me.

By "Steelers HC", I assume you mean OC, which is what I was thinking the OP meant. (unless I'm missing something, which isn't unusual)

According to the announcers when KC played Pit, drawing up plays is all Andy wants to do.
Either way, I think he's a perfect fit in KC.
