Any Word On Shazier

His serious spinal injury isn't enough information? He's done man

 

There's been very little official information released regarding Ryan's injury. Unless you have access to his medical records and you've examined him then you're just speculating.

 

Personally I would like to see him walk again. Not worried about him playing again or not.

 

Bleacher report just said that Shazier's dad said he has feeling in his legs, progressing faster than expected, and will play again

 

All I've seen is his father said he had feeling in his legs... Would not comment on wether he could walk.

 

Good news! Hoping there is more good news to come in the near future! Prayers!

 

NBC Sports reported "Vernon Shazier told WPXI that Ryan is regaining feeling in his legs. Vernon still believes his son will play football again," but that info is not actually in the quote that Vernon gives. The actual quote in the same article is, “He’s making progress daily,” Vernon Shazier said. “He’s a long ways from where he was Monday night when he was laying on the field.”

This is tremendous news if true. Lots of prayers coming this kid’s way. Think about what he gave for the sport of football. Now think about what a sorry excuse for a sport the NFL becomes each and every year. Since his injury, I’ve been unable to think about one, and not the other.

ebay is absolute garbage for a seller! Once I was selling something that was time sensitive, and someone bought it. A week later they hadn't paid, and ebay basically told me I was $*** out of luck. Real nice way to treat someone who had been on their site since 2002 with a rating of 100%...smfh

Yeah, all the ones discussing the paralysis in his lower body. It's great that he's regaining movement. Hope he does and lives happily. He'll never be 100% mentally and physically where he was.

When did we ban speculations and opinions on a message board?

Look up the epilogues of players suffering spinal contusions. They typically don't come back. Those who do have diminished abilities and don't last long.

I'm as optimistic as the next guy. But I'm also a realist. I don't think we'll see Shazier playing NFL football again. And I'd love for him to serve me a giant crow dinner.

 

I hope he doesn't come back. The risk FAR outweighs the reward.

 

Who said it was banned? He said it like maybe he knew something definitive. If you're stating an opinion that's great, but until I hear something official I'll hold out hope that he plays again.

 

I want to thank the Lord for the first downs that he has been allowing me to achieve. The touchdown is going to come in his timing, but today was a first down. I was finally able to make it to practice with my teammates. It’s great to be back for practices and meetings. Just to be able to feel a part of it means the world. So I’m working harder than I ever have to get back. Ive been making strides over the past month and continue to make progress. Taking it day-by-day, but I’m far from done. The Lord has not finished his work yet. I want to say thank you to the fans and Steelers Nation for the prayers. If it wasn’t for my family, friends and your prayers I wouldn’t be were I am now.
