Yeah, so encouraging to see him progressing. Definitely need him on the field in the post season. Juju and Bryant have done admirably but no one commands the respect of the secondary and owns up the field for the rest of the offense like AB.

I agree with a poster in another thread that the injury could even be beneficial if it grows Juju's confidence being "the man" heading into the playoffs and gets Bryant's head back on the team now that he had a meaningful role on offense in AB's absence.

Doesn't look good for that Divisional round yet. He's barely running and definitely not cutting yet.

I wish he'd not share these videos, unless he's actually doing more than that and making it look like he's only jogging.

I don't have confidence in the Steelers and Browns' ability to pull something like that off and wouldn't like to see them try to.

AB was catching passes from the Jugs machine today. While that may sound encouraging, it doesn't mean he was moving while doing so. I have my doubts that he will be ready in 10 days.

If he can't he can't. Good thing is, it forces others to man up and forces Ben to spread it around a bit more. With AB there's a double team commandment that could better benefit the others and although I think Ben's dialed the zeroing in back a bit, it still happens. The other good thing is, JuJu is earning the same type of attention that makes this O really dangerous when AB is ready to go.

Throw in a healthy Vance and a MB who's been getting stuff done underneath lately on those cross the field routes and man it can be Purdy! That's all without Bell and now Rosie is showing some hands in the play calling! Rogers is stepping up too!

I think AB will be back however I think we can beat who ever we meet up with without him this first go.

It's a trick to catch the jags of guard. First play on offense will be a bomb to a streaking AB that the jags thought could only jog. Book it.

This guy is pretty effective in his diagnostics.
Take a look yourself on his TL and previous forecast for other injuries:

I wasn't really worried about AB two weeks ago (was during the initial injury, wasn't when I learned what it was) and I'm still not now. He'll be back.

He's a gamer, he's not injury prone and will most definitely be in uniform and effective for our game.

if AB provided a 50% better chance of making it to the superbowl, but at the same time he could have a 50% chance of having a career ending injury during the playoffs would you play him?

The Steelers are capable of winning the divisional round without AB. AFC Championship vs. Patriots? Not so much.

I’d leave the decision in AB’s hands.

I don't think this is a legitimate hypothetical. He will not be released to play by the medical staff, unless he is able to go. Couldn't you say a 50% chance of having a career ending injury is what all players have...I mean they either have one or they don't.

They actually showed they could move the ball just fine against the Patriots without him. I think they will need all of their weapons against the Jaguars, who have two strong corners. Even a limited Brown draws plenty of attention. I think Roethlisberger is going to have to make good use of his tight ends, Bell and No. 3 receivers to be effective against Jacksonville.

Or we can just get Bell going against a run defense that ranks in the bottom 1/3 of the league. Force them to commit more to the box and then shred them with AB/JuJu/Bryant
