Thanks! I needed the chuckle before bed. The Pats are beatable, but the team to beat them needs to have a legit passing game. KC is by far the best opponent for NE from our vantage point, and I don’t think it’s even close. The various matchups between the Chiefs skill position players and the Pats defenders is unfavorable to the Pats, particularly with their lack of athleticism at LB. to me KC at NE is a 50/50 game.

Everything that worked for KC last time Coach Bill will shut down if they meet again. Players will be supper focused against KC not so much against the Bills.

You do know that the Panthers beat the Pats ? Cam has been way off and they really have a no real running game . Cam got the zone read going and it gave NE fits . Taylor and the Bills could possibly do the same thing . The Bills put up like 400 yards of O the last game they just didn't finish drives.

That NE-BUF game was close enough at halftime until... well, until that TD was called an incomplete pass.
Both of them (KC-BUF) could give NE a headache.

What have you seen that would make you think the Bills will suddenly start finishing drives, and with a gimpy McCoy (if he could even play) no less? KC has heated up again after a mid-season slump.

By the way, I watched some of that Buffalo vs NE game in Foxboro a couple of weeks ago. The Pats started slow and had their own trouble finishing drives, yet they managed to put up 37 points and won by 21. Buffalo cannot compete with them, even if they play their best game. A. Smith > Taylor; Kelce > Clay; Hunt > an injured (or absent) McCoy; Hill = NE has no answer unless they single cover Kelce. I’ll take that KC matchup vs NE any day vs. the Buffalo matchup.

I'd say I can't believe anybody would consider the Bills to be a better bet to upset the Patriots than the Chiefs, but nothing here surprises me.

The Chiefs are a much better team in every way and they actually beat the Patriots rather than losing by double-digit margins to them twice.

The Bills have 16 picks from their starting 2 CB'S and 2 Safety players in 2017 .The first game Brady only had 258 yards 0 TD,S and 1 pick Gronk had over half of that.

    The 2nd. game Brady 224 yards 2 TD,S and a pick .

The Bills can for sure match up on a D and a play or 2 either way could have changed either game . Don't sleep on the Bills.

The Bills beat KC,Atlanta and the Raiders in 2017 . They have the capability of shutting down power house Offences. Who knows how the weather will impact the playoffs ? Defenses travel well , so I think it will be very hard for the Pats a 3rd. time around .

The Chiefs beat the Patriots by 14. The Bills lost to them twice, by 20 and 12 points. Of course, that Chiefs-Patriots game was a long time ago, but it's still silly to say the Bills have a better shot against the Patriots.

Why ? What is the best unit of the Pats ? The Offense by far . What is the best unit from KC ? The Offense by far . In a shootout game which Team is more likely to prevail ? I say the home Team by far as they can audible, change the snap counts, get the calls and so on.

I will take the Team that has the best Defense on the road .

The Bill's are 9 point underdogs against the Jags so the D has to get that 1 first . I also think the Titans are going to upset KC .

Fournette isnt doing anything in his last 5 games he has one game with 101 yards and 4 games with a total of 199 yards, and the only reason he had 181 yards against us was he had one run of 90 yards, he has hit the rookie wall with only 48 and 69 yards in his last two games both losses by the way, the jags are on my wish list of opponents we want to play, coming off two losses in a row and having never been in the playoffs and those two rookie corners have hit the wall and they are ripe for the taking if they get by the wildcard round, I doubt they will but if they do bring em on.......

It isn't just the two best units. That is an overly simplistic analysis that shows a lack of understanding of how the game actually works. Perhaps that explains your take on this thread and many others.

The Bills don't have the offense or defense to match up with the Patriots. They demonstrated as much twice this season, and that was with McCoy. The Chiefs would still be significant underdogs against the Patriots, but they've proven they at least have a shot in that matchup.

The best defense on the road? So you are taking the Jaguars in Pittsburgh if they make it that far?

No I will not take the Jags over us , but I would rather play a Team based more on Offense at home . The Bills should have had the lead going into the 4th. Quarter they got robbed this allowed the Pats to stick to the running game . Again the Bill's have 16 picks from 4 players, if they can ever get the lead on NE they have the pass Defense to beat them.

Any back and forth game vs. Brady favors the Pats IMO .

Maybe, by Ben saying he wants revenge on the Jags, they look past the game against the Bills, and emotionally invest themselves into beating the Steelers. We see this all the time, like when the Ravens looked ahead to the playoffs and overlooked the Bengals and when the Steelers looked forward to the Texans and overlooked the Patriots.
