Even if they are kicking those ideas around, I doubt they would've tried it against Cleveland last week in order to keep the footage out of folks' hands. I'm for whatever could provide a spark in D's backend but it's gonna be Mitchell the rest of the run.

 

Our best defense has to be a great offense. The defense needs to sack Brady and or at least make him feel some hits. Brady is a good QB because he doesn't get touched and the refs guard him like golden child. He could never have lasted in the 80's, 70's and on down. Get some freaking hits on him !

 

Tre Boston and Lamarcus Joyner are both free agents for next year. Either of them being signed would alleviate a lot of things come draft time imo. Wishful thinking though...

Allen can't even get any snaps at CB, there's no way he will play safety he's too raw.

 

#1 draft pick should be ILB
Roquan Smith, Georgia, would be great
Josh Allen, Kentucky, would be a good fit either

Yes, FS should be a top priority too.

That said, I really hope Shazier makes a full recovery and has a normal life (playing football again seems to be a long shot right now, but who knows).

Neither one of them has the size to play Safety.
We have four Safeties on the roster. Unless there's an injury no one except those four will be playing safety.

I don't think he understands that he is slower than he used to be. His pursuit angle have been flipping terrible. I think Gay is the best idea i have heard on the board, but that isn't going to happen this late in the game.

 

Why not give Wilcox a shot? Mitchell has done nothing this season. At least Wilcox came in early on and looked respectable. Both Mitchell and Golden are liabilities. Not saying that Wilcox will light up the world but common, Mitchell is horrible. Oh it must be the injuries right?! Negative. He just isn't that good, a one trick pony. He will start unfortunately.

But, they won't ... because they have no imagination and no,zero, coaching scheme skills. We let timmons and deebo walk and shazier is probably out of football.
