Yep. It is as you question answers itself.

As I told you on multiple occasions, the "Blitzburgh Linebacker" days are gone. Our linebackers need to be complete linebackers and not just one trick ponies. It is the defensive line's turn to wreak havoc and they have done a solid job on that front.

Furthermore, if you wanted James Harrison used more, we then need to consider your avatar being not adequate enough to produce and nevermind start as that would have been the likely scenario.

Like you, I still do love James Harrison and will always appreciate him for his services. However, like the seasons, "Spring" must come at some point in order for "Winter" to conclude.

As for the linebacker position, "Spring" has officially sprung and "Winter" is officially over.

Sure looks like he dropped into zone coverage and came up to make tackles to me. Looks like he made a tackle for a loss on a running play.

Sacks looked legitmate; Beachum didn't wave at him as he went by, and Harrison was doubled teamed on the second one.

Why did he have to be a "complete" linebacker anyway? Even as a situational pass rusher he could have contributed, something Bud Dupree isn't doing playing nearly every snap.

I think there are thread after thread and post after post that may disagree with this statement. Many here said he was 40 and washed up.

Let it go. Dude is gone and aint coming back. He is done, finished, over. I dont care if he has 10 sacks. It was the jets. Bryce petty. I see what he can do when he was here and so did the coaches who last time i checked are pretty damn smart

Garbage time means the sacks didn't effect the outcome of the game, doesn't mean the sacks, tackle for loss, and two open field tackles weren't legitimate. The point of the thread is not to lament Harrison's departure, but to point out the unwillingness of the coaching staff to use an asset they had at their disposal, and cutting him when they did allowed their main rival for AFC supremacy to fill their biggest roster need.

Nobody believes Harrison should have been starting or even splitting snaps with Watt or Dupree. However, he could have contributed as a situational pass rusher. In the off-season we are going to find out Dupree has some sort of injury that requires surgery. He has become a liability, and that was becoming apparent at the same time the roster decision had to be made. Keeping a guy that can help, plus preventing the Patriots from signing him should have been obvious.

The Patriots are head and shoulders above the Steelers in preparedness and getting the most out of their players.

For those of you that didn't watch Turning Point, here's an opportunity to see directly into the inner workings of Tomlin's game management:

    Makes me sick.

No way man go back thru the threads I have made 1 post since all the BS last week. It is time to move on, but since you clearly have a problem with anything I say about JH I will sum it up and you can pick it apart:

I am made he is gone but the whole time I have said he has something left, that was my agreement.

The other thing I am pissed about is he is a Pat now and that can hurt us, again cause he can still rush the passer. People want to say it was the jets and it was garbage time, fine it also was vs our old LT who was pretty good not to long ago. and yeah the Jets, as we are happy about beating the 0-16 Clowns. Same thing these are NFL players no matter the record, I said this earlier in a different thread.

The last thing I am pissed about is if JH was an a-hole then the Steelers shouldn't have given him what he wanted which could come back and bite us in the butt. What they should have done is suspend him and make him look like the clown.

This is about the Steelers not JH, I am pissed that now we have something else to worry about for the Pat's. I have always said I think JH has something left and in if the Steelers felt otherwise he shouldn't have been on our team this late in the season.

Love what JH has always brought, love the Steelers HATE THAT WE AS FAN HAVE TO GO THRU THIS!!!!!

Moderating is a thankless job and at times a complete pain in the ass. They are volunteers and have actual jobs and family responsibilies that take precedent over an internet message board. With that being said it’s far easier for posters to follow simple rules and post threads in the proper forum.

Who cares. Bellichick may not even have him active in the playoffs. He will take his last NFL snap with the patriots this year and it’s a shame.

A thread about James Harrison, the all time sack leader who was just cut by the Steelers, isn't Steelers related? (This is a rhetorical question)
Look, your thread got moved last week. It happens sometimes. Try not to take it personally, and try not to criticize the moderators because of it. The moderators here do an outstanding job, and the moderating here is probably the best you're going to find on a message board.
