I kIndia think this "getting information stuff" from a player is a bit overrated, people are only freaking out on this one because it involves billicheat and the guy has a track record of cheating, if Harrison signed with BAL i doubt it anybody would freak out him sharing info with Harbaugh.

 

Same amount as Harrison and he's been here for three weeks.

 

I'm not worried about him as a player on field. If we see him on the field I'm splitting everyone out wide and throwing right at him.

I'm just worried about intel he can give the PATS... Audibles, Plays, Tendencies, Defensive signals

Unfortunately one thing it has done is bring attention to a game that isn’t even scheduled to happen yet. All the shows love to create intrigue and scandal with the Steelers rather than good play. We can win game after game and not be looked favorably on. But, have a player flip a cooler or discipline a WR and it’s front page news. In other words, the only news covered out of Pitt is negative news.

 

Okay so why would we want a player on the field that can literally do one thing and even that is average at this point. Compare Harrison last year to Watt this year and tell me you want to take Watt off the field for Harrison. Now let’s here we’ll put him in for Dupree. It’s not that simple. For how many years now has he been in the that side. A lot of it is muscle memory. You flip sides and your outside rip and swim are now your inside rip and spin. Just look at the Raiders vs Eagles. Eagles starting LT is out and their RT is an all pro. Logic would tell you move Mack over to the LT and take advantage of the back up yet they kept up against the all pro RT.

 

There is no question that there was something bad that went on between Harrison and the coaching staff. With only 2 regular season games left you don't make that move with a legend until the end of the season. The talk about he can't cover anymore is all bull-crap and dosen't mean anything, because Coty, Mitchell and others can't cover either.

I'm thinking there were some harsh discussions between the coaching staff and him in regards to his playing time. I also think he didn't get a fare share
and could not understand why he didn't get some more playing time.

Not sure who he got into it with, Porter, Butler or Tomlin, my guess it had to end up being Tomlin, also agree we will here more about this in due time.

 

They have to change everything anyway, Bill Belicheat breaks down every play on tape, including the audible parts and will recognize the current system. James won’t know which direction we will go and the scheme for the next game. As far as tendencies, he also breaks down every game we have played for two years. Every week is different.

 

yea, tough to know what's truth. Time will tell. A lot of apparentlys, likelys, and "makes more sense" verbage in there, which makes it seem like guess work. But JH92 made a lot of social media passive aggressive complaints so I'm sure there was fire to that smoke. To what extent will remain to be seen.

 

Harrison was definitely ramping up his displeasure.

There's an article on Steelers depot about this very topic. It includes quotes from Essex. He calls the claim drastically overblown. Also says the signals etc are changed week to week. Harrsion won't even know the signals etc if we meet again.



“Even if he [Harrison] could (he couldn’t), New England players would have enough to worry about within their own game plan,” Essex told me. “So either they would have to memorize every signal we had every week on top of what they are doing, or James would have to give them live translation during the 45 seconds they have to get play calls in in between plays. I think you at absolutely right. Harrison and Porter don't like each other in my opinion and I think that played a part in this whole thing. Glad someone else thinks that might be a part in the mystery of Harrison getting almost no playing time when the opportunity was there. No actual proof just an opinion.

 

They change their complaints with each change in wind speed.

 

But no one will tell him to his face.

I can see now why the league is always testing him. I hope he's OK!

 

Thing about the video;

If he was doing that every day then I can see why the coaches had enough. Negativity spreads like a cold in a subway.

 

I cant believe this is even a story... Steelers let him go and he left. All this talk about "he knows our defense" is ridiculous. There is game film on everyone and if anyone has film we know that the Patsies do (legal or illegal)

Audibles and tendencies are the easiest things in the game to change.

I know butt's are starting to pucker due to the post season coming up but C'MON MAN. Go Steelers!!
