Harrison played 40 snaps for the Steelers this season, taking part in only five of 15 games. The Steelers know he’s washed up. If they thought Harrison could help New England, they wouldn’t have cut him.

That makes no sense. If New England thought he couldn't help them, they wouldn't have signed him.

I love James...he deserved better than he got this last year. I called him going to the Pats the day they cut him.....I don't blame him one bit

They will send him at Chiefs in round 2....and he will help them win.

I can't wait until he beats AV around the corner has Ben all lined up for a sack and just pulls up and let's him throw a completion and then when the Pats ask why he did that?Deebo goes that's my Quarterback and just walks away.

Does he lose his steeler card?
Or once a steeler always a steeler?

I wonder if the Colbert and co thought the pats would actually sign him. They had to consider it I hope. My feelings are that he started to become a real problem in the locker room because he never played and the team knew he was not going to get a hat so.......

Still blows but I don’t see him doing much in NE. You can see he can no longer run

How does he look at his boys after calling the cheatriots cheats and then signing with them? He let his anger with Tomlin over his misuse get the best of him. It’s been a long time since I’ve been so disappointed in a person.

As I suggested in another thread, I have no beef with Harrison.

He didn't release himself. Unlike LeGarrett Blount, he didn't walk out on the team. The Steelers dumped him. If you're mad about this, be mad at them.

And I actually am mad at them. One of NE's biggest weaknesses is OLB and their biggest rival just handed them a possible solution to that problem.

2004: James Harrison calls out the Patriots for more signal stealing
More claims of the Patriots having impossible information about the opposing team's game plans came in 2004 via Steelers linebacker James Harrison.

    He said,

I should have another ring. We were the best team in football in 2004, but the Patriots, who we beat during the regular season, stole our signals and picked up 90 percent of our blitzes [in the AFC title game]. They got busted for it later, but hey, they're Goodell's boys, so he slapped 'em $500,000 and burned the tapes. Was he going to rescind their Super Bowls? Man, hell no!

Yeah ,he could've easily went to the Ravens but the fact that so quickly he signed with ne tells me he wanted to give a big middle finger to the Steelers. ..

So the Steelers are supposed to sit their two first round picks at OLB Dupree and Watt, just to keep a 39 year old Harrison happy please .

Really? What evidence do you have of any Steelers player saying he feels betrayed?

Remember how Penguins right winger Marian Hossa signed with the Detroit Red Wings to win a Stanley Cup and then lost to Pittsburgh in the finals? A scenario like that would be nice.

Difference is OLB is a weakness for the Pats, not so much for the Steelers.

Clive, you are mixing apples and kumquats. The Steelers may not think he can help. NE obviously does. Those two thoughts aren’t mutually exclusive. Just different opinions.

Well, if the Steelers needed a big kick in the rear and a motivation to take out the pats and win their 7th...THEY JUST GOT 1.

I wonder if JH would ACTUALLY hurt BB if he ever had a chance....I remember when Richard Seymore left the pats and signed with Raiders when pats played oakland Seymore just gave brady a friendly shove and picked up 15 yrds to help tom out...

I agree with you that he should have been used more as situational rusher and to set the edge when the Bears and Jags were gashing us (which Belichek will do masterfully I bet), but it's still a spiteful decision by Deebo that paints him as a hypocrite.

He has two championships so it's not like Junior Seau chasing a ring.

If he just wants to play "for love of the game" why not go to the Titans and reunite with Lebeau?

No, he chose the Pats because it would be the biggest slap in the faces of the Steelers brass.

He's talked as much trash on the Patriots' cheating over the years as he has on Roger Goodell. The only way he could be more hypocritical is if he ends up working a summer internship in Goodell's office this offseason.

It means nothing of course, but my opinion of him is irreparably damaged. No longer on my personal list of Steelers greats.

Nope not at all but he sure as heck could have been playing in the mix of lb's we have......never said anything about sitting our 2 first round picks that is just stupid.
