    Several reads into this:

-KC & MT knew, as they released him, that JH would end with BAL or NE: JH gives you a competitive advantage in the fears of a game against KC.

-That said, IMHO, NE got him for the potential matchup against KC, which LT Harrison owns, and not for extracting info from the Steelers (honestly, NE has already a clue or two about how to beat Tomlin).

    - Harrison wasn't going to play in Pittsburgh more than a couple of snaps, and that's not what he wanted right now (even though Joey Porter said early this season that he would be a relief pitcher)

-He'll be no more than a situational pass - rusher. 10-15 snaps per game. However, that's a lot more than what he was playing here.

-I fully understand they are professionals, and they make a living from their play. However, didn't saw JH being so easy on a contract to an enemy. His legacy as a Steeler will be now questioned by many, many fans. How about this: retire a Steeler, live from your restaurant "J grille 92 - the Interception" or something like that, or live from your fame with any other business at PA...

Some people freaking out, some not. A fairly standard and expected response.

Just a bad move cutting him this close to Playoffs when you absolutely knew an enemy would pick him up.

Was it really that bad in the locker room with him around?

Now get ready to pay the price.
    Patriot D just got better.

Heck, Belichick may use him as a fullback at goal line.

I disagree. That's why BB is the greatest. He takes no one lightly, looks past no one, and respects every opponent.

I was thinking about this earlier. I'm sure he took one to pass the physical but more than likely it'll be his last for a long time.

On a side note. I feel like I got kicked in the nutz a bit today.

Break a leg James.....No, really, break a leg. Brady's in practice would be a good one.

The NFL seems like the WWF more and more every year.:puking 3:

Still my favorite defensive steeler not named polamalu. He wanted to play, we didn’t let him so he signed with a winner that can use him.

This sure stumped me. I figured he would be back today.
There have been others leave with vast knowledge of the playbook. I loved Santonio, Joey, etc, and now James.
Ariens came back a couple years ago to Pitt and his knowledge of things didn't help.
It hasn't helped LeBeau and the Titans on Thursday Night game.

This will be worse than seeing Franco in a Seahawks jersey. This won't be easy.
BB will pick his brain and pay him peanuts. Interesting Ravens didn't sign James sooner. Harbaugh knows his knowledge of play books won't help them. Jacoby Jones experiment sure didn't helped us, huh? Wallace hasn't provided them with anything either.

Patriots know they barely won. I know both teams have people injured. AB will be back. Pats also know it was uncharacteristic for AB to drop the TD when he got hurt. This game could've been over earlier. I am so confident in Steelers. Now it's through the roof.

We have proof......Patriots are desperate in signing James. Ravens arent desperate.
Who is James going to cover in man coverage? BB is desperate. It's all about playing a mind game from some chapter in his buddy Jimmy Johnson's book of psychology they read to each other fishing in the FLA Keys drinking Heineken. Only a weak mind will buy into it.
BB is trying to get our fan base discouraged and lose focus.

Nice try. I am not falling for it and neither should anyone else. Go Steelers.

Watt could have sat against the Browns, James could have started.
Some D starters could have rested.

So Tomlin rested up James all season for Bellichick to use.

I love it when people demonstrate their limited grasp of grammar and punctuation as they attack the intellect of another human being. Tomlin has never had a losing season as a head coach. The Steelers have reached two Super Bowls with him as head coach and won one of them. Despite devastating injuries, including the loss of Antonio Brown early in the second quarter, they were a shaky replay reversal away from beating the Patriots and taking the top seed in the playoffs this year.

Harrison made one play all season. Otherwise, he was invisible the rare times he made it onto the field. I'm sure the Patriots and their fans are laughing their butts off at reactions like yours.

I am amazed by this. Do you guys really think a 39 yr old olb is gonna make the pats that much better? Dont give me the crap about inside info. If we execute it wont matter. And if that is the case we have a former pat, who i might add can help us, on our squad.

Harrison couldnt see the field over moats.lol if u watched him when he was out there, u have to know he is a shell of what he was last year. Does it suck? Sure. But to say tomlin and colbert are idiots for doint it. I will not say that.

Now if u want to say they were for bringing him back. I would agree. We carry 53. I would not take him over any of them

As I mentioned on the other thread, the Blount situation was completely different and it was a mistake. He had a role on that team and plenty left in the tank. The Steelers should have benched him, even suspended him, but no way they should have cut him.

This is different. Harrison wasn't playing. He had no role on the Steelers. He looks like he really doesn't have much left in the tank, if anything. He looks more like the player who seemed to be finished with the Bengals than the guy who was reborn during his second go-round with the Steelers. All power and no quickness.

Also, get your facts straight. Vrabel was not cut. He left as a free agent because he was stuck behind Porter and Gildon, who were both better players. Maybe the Steelers should have moved him inside or done something creative, but they didn't cut him.

Not much of a fan of irony, are you?

I do question if they should have cut Sensabaugh instead, but Tomlin and his staff are the ones who see practice every day. They know what he has left in the tank and didn't think he was worth keeping. It's as if some of you think they are actually trying to lose.

Yes I do, people say he couldn't beat out Moats....I say he wasn't given the chance. Tomlin for some reason kept him on the sideline, enough of the he is 39 years old already the dude is so in shape it isn't funny. I am been fighting this in another thread so I am not gonna get more into it again but he has never shown he is done......

Let's save this for after we play the Cheats in the AFCCG, that will be the tell tale if he has anything left, maybe even sooner if he lights up the Jets this week.
