Beat me to it. I was going to say "Looks like Harrison will finally get those holding calls."

it's a business - Steelers did what they thought they needed to do and Harrison did the same on his end. who wouldn't want the shot at another ring...especially at his age.

Now here comes the narrative: Harrison was disrespected and abandoned by the Steelers. He's on one last hurrah and retiring after a SB win, etc etc.

Maybe Tomlin and JH2 came up with this plan, where JH will now be implanted as a spy for the Steelers.

Painful!! I can see it now, Steelers about to score from 1 yard line in AFCCG and Harrison picks it off and runs 99 yards for a TD. Takes a good 10 minutes off the clock since he has slowed down since the SB he did it in:)

Frankly I’m not sure they are smart enough to think that far ahead. So pissed right now.

I'm giving this guy the Chris Benoit treatment, as far as I'm concerned he didn't exist. As far as I'm concerned, Aaron Smith took the ball 99 yards against The Cardinals in Superbowl 43

And they're one injury to Watt away from starting Spence and Moats/Chick for their SB run....

They will change their play calls and the looks they give. They would have had to have changed everything after playing them once already. Big Bill is very thorough and definitely took all the notes he could so he could match is up with game film. James didn’t hurt us when he went to Cinci for a couple games. LaVeon will eat him alive in the screen game. Remember we know James like he knows us.

This way #92 finally learns the current Steelers D (from Bill B) since he certainly wasn't getting enough reps on this team to get a handle on it.

I couldn't believe the Steelers cut him and now signing with the Pats is like a punch in the gut! I just felt that his playoff and Superbowl experiences, even just cheering from the sidelines was worthy of a roster spot while we made our run. I mean why do it now? Why not cut him weeks ago? I'm all over the place on this. I feel betrayed by Harrison but how could I be since it was Tomlin who pushed him out the door. This just stinks. I am going to be having nightmares I think for the next few with the thought of Harrison sacking Ben in the AFCC!

Harrison is too slow for what our OLBs do now. Butler isn’t going to run two different schemes because of one old player.

You honestly think BB needs help from Harrison to beat the Steelers? Seriously?

I am not sure outsiders can understand what this signing makes us locals feel like.

WE HATE THE PATS, THEY HAVE STOLE AT LEAST 2 SUPERBOWLS FROM US. Now our

all time sack leader is suiting up for them. How did this ****ing happen. I hope there

is some explanation for this TRAVESTY. How could McCullers be more valuable than JAMES HARRISON.? HOW

Don’t think too far ahead, both teams will have to make it through the divisional game and that will be the challenge we have to focus on. NE does not want to see the Chiefs or the Ravens, they hate the match up, even at home. And we dam sure better be concerned with Jacksonville or LA. Demarcus Ware said it best when he said he doesn’t expect them to get through round 1. James is the least of our concerns, we have to develope a game plan for their TE.

James no longer has to worry about getting personal foul calls or fines either...

Harrison is a knife when we needed a spoon. Ever try eating a bowl of soup with a knife? You end up hungry and with a mouth full of cuts.
Pats needed a knife. They got one. Now it's up to us to serve them soup.

I'm a big Harrison supporter and I must be in the minority here because my reaction to this is meh. He isn't going to give BB anything it's not how he rolls, didn't do it in Cincy won't in NE. They don't need anything anyway they pretty much own the matchup right now.

What will happen is they will use him as a situational pass rusher this week to get by the Jets and secure home field throughout. Then he has two weeks to learn their defense but I'm guessing spot duty. You guys are freaking for nothing. Jeez this might be worse than the missing the anthem bs.

Yeah probably a better pass rush against the Jets and securing the bye and home field beyond that not much
