I'm somewhat disappointed in JH. I know he still wants to play but to sign with the arch nemesis??? Just doesn't sit well with me.

I can’t believe he would throw away his legacy with the Steelers for them. He will be looked at as a traitor from here on out. He must really hate Tomlin to throw it all away just to stick it to them.

The Steelers released him. Why does he owe them anything?

Might as well play for a winning Team . Our OLB position was deemed better without him so no path to playing time .He will get to play in NE .

That's the closest JH has been to TB without a flag being thrown. Goodell will probably fine him for unsportsmanlike conduct.

everyone knows what this signing is about. They're going to update the information on player tendencies and playbook changes and let him play a few snaps if they play them again.

He can still get after the QB. Might not drop into coverage well. but in short fields it doesn't matter much. Surprised (not really) that the Steelers didn't use him that way all year.

And they probably have to change their defensive signals...all with VW with his new green dot role.

I know JH2 was free to do what he wants, but being in such a role would make him even more of a traitor.

Pats Lose Hightower and get JH2, Steelers lose Shazier and get Spence. UGH

Throw away his legacy? No. He didn't leave Pittsburgh, the org. left him out to dry. What a shame. 92 believes he can still play, and so do i. does it hurt he signed with them? of course. but its a BUSINESS! Myself and every other fan should not blame him for signing. If you don't respect him just because of this then shame on you. you can take back that 99 yd TD return and that SB 43 ring, because we would not have won without that. period. Sad to see you rip on him for all he's done for our franchise. James Harrison is NOT a traitor. He got released, not left us. Shame on you.

Cutting Blount abruptly certainly didn't backfire on us... I mean, who on here didn't expect him to bolt straight to the Pats and thrive? Heading into the playoffs that year without Bell and an NFL caliber running back and watching the ball bounce off our 3rd string RB's hands into Suggs's arms for the clinching INT was just icing on the cake.

I'm sure this signing won't come back to bite us either.. :lolol: We've been outsmarted by the Patriots since we cut Mike Vrabel. I highly doubt it changes now.

    Steelers FO knew that

    1. Yes he might get picked up by ne
    2. Yes he knows the whole playbook
    3. YEs he can share some damaging info on the team with ne....TOMLIN Refered to JH as Bentley, you don't just get rid of Bentley.

They had to consider all that, right?

I feel a migrain coming on..
