Uh no, I'm telling you it was a moronic move. Laughably stupid. Just like us cutting Harrison at this point of the season....also laughably stupid.

So who is going to take over his spot? JJ's less than decent brother TJ? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. This team doesn't want to win at all.

I'm just going to keep this out there man, if the Steelers and Pats meet in the AFCCG they key will be to stop the 5 time Super Bowl winning QB, not the guy that play 40 snaps for us this year who may be playing for them.

Some people just aren't built for stress. I'd hate to go into battle with one of these overreacters.

Geezz people are acting like the Steelers cut Antonio Brown. Harris is a liability and pass coverage (slow) and couldn't play on special teams.

If you’re a Cleveland player, it’s all the difference in the world.

I'd hate to go into battle with Tomlin and Colbert leading because they don't understand strategy and enemy tactics.

It's only a bad decision unless it comes back to bite you in the butt, it hasn't come back to bite said butt yet. So let's just hold off.

How many Super Bowl rings do you have?

Harrison's ability to play doesn't worry me as much as his knowledge of our offense and defense. Then again, does anyone here REALLY want to see a revenge minded Harrison in the AFCCG? He may have lost a step overall, but if you think for one second he can't dig deep for 1 game, you're fooling yourself.

Releasing Harrison wasn't the brightest move the Steelers have made IMO. Its not an overreaction by any means, it's just stating that a player with Harrison's knowledge and ability shouldn't have been released this close to the playoffs knowing a team like the Pats would scoop him up.

That's true, but odds are it probably will bite them. You'd think the Blount incident would have taught them something

I don't think this is going to hurt the Patriots but it could help. He only played 40 snaps so he will be fresh, he will be very VERY motivated going to in new culture, team, and a chance to win a ring. Remember they signed Seau in his late in his career and everyone thought he was washed up but Bellichick found ways to use him effectively. Now Seau was a better player when the Patriots signed him than Harrision is now but this move will only help them simply because they had no depth at LB.

There’s a difference between Harrison not being able to contribute in our defensive scheme v. not being able to contribute in ANY defensive scheme. He may very well be a great fit for what NE would ask of him.

Also anyone pissed at Harrision needs to take a long walk do some thinking. He didn't want to leave, he was cut. He is an athlete who believes he can still play and the clock is ticking on his career so he found a place that will let him play. Regardless of who is signed with his loyalty is to himself and his family. He doesn't owe the Steelers the curiosity of not signing with the Patriots just like the Steelers didn't owe him the curiosity of not cutting him went they felt he was not part of they plans. The Steelers made a business decision and he did the same thing. Anyone who rails against him for finding a new teams regardless of who it is is being shortsighted.

Brady is a concern. To your point, James...not so much.

This might be a bit of a stretch, but I remember Vrabel not cutting it here and went on to one helluva career with them bastards. That said, the one thing with belichek is he gets something out of cast offs, never weres etc... If he just needs James to maul a tackle then I imagine James is in a position to do just that. He can still stifle a run and rush a QB even if in sparse amounts. I don't think it's the end of the world, but it stinks either way and would suck to see James matter once more against his former team in his presumed last hurrah.

So. Somebody has to have the most. Point is your opinion of Tomlin is meaningless.

Patriots now have the oldest player on offence (Brady) and the oldest player on defense(Harrison) in the NFL right now. And both are freaking out Steelers fans.
