It’s less of a belief that Harrison will be a beast and more along the lines of respect. You don’t go to the Ravens or Pats. I understand that he wants to play and we May have screwed him over, but come on ... this is blatant disrespect to the franchise and fans.

Could be the most embarrassing gaffe by Mike Tomlin since losing to Tim Tebow. What a moronic move by Tomlin and the FO. It's so moronic it's funny.

The patriots will now know our audibles and our game plan we used on them. Harrison knows our defense better than any player on our team. The patriots will know exactly how we react to formations before the ball is snapped. Anyone think Harrison won't be motivated to take Ben down in a playoff game? We completely disrespected the guy, pissed him off, then let him sign with the one team we have to beat to get to a SB. This is classic Tomlin actually. Lack of attention to details and foresight have prevented Tomlin from winning playoff games most of his career. Now he does this. What a joke.

You know the minute Harrison was cut by the Steelers he sent every potential playoff team in the AFC videos of him owning Villanueva in practice.

It's pretty amusing how people are freaking out over a guy who couldn't get on the field with us. The Steelers were well aware that if they cut him, he could sign with someone else. The Steelers didn't care. If we lose it won't be because of cutting a backup who never played.

Super Star? He had one sack and was active for 4 games?

He was once a super star. He's a serviceable former star at this point.

He's our all time sack leader and one of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history. If he puts on that jersey it ruins his whole legacy.

No because he is going to play in front of a bunch of fairweather fans and a whiny QB who cries to the refs if he gets touched. I am done. Have fun Steeler Nation this team is doomed in the playoffs.

He's an upgrade for the Patriots... not to mention his knowledge of our defense and offense. You know damn well he knows how to beat our OT's better than anyone. He'll be coaching as much as playing. That last thing we needed to do was help the Patriots get an edge on us. There will be players on our roster that will never play a down the rest of the season...there are players on our roster that could have been cut and put on the practice squad. This cut was as moronic as the Browns cutting Haden.

You think it's a ploy on his part to get back on the Steelers? But, anyway. We cut Harrison, Harrison didn't cut us.

That's a bit of a stretch, all he has is our formations and play calls that could be changed to our advantage.

You're right. He's not that good anymore. The issue is what information he can give up to the Patriots offense. And not to mention if another player you cast off wins a championship. It's a dumb move even if it's a waste of a roster spot.

No, I think this has been thought out way before. With all the injuries and needing to bring Sutton up to get our secondary better. I said Gilbert failing for PEDs was a blessing. Then two weeks ago after the Shazier injury Harrison is going to complain about PT? That's not like him. They put that out knowing Gilbert was coming back. I think the Steelers knew no matter who they cut, Patriots would bring them in for information. Harrison is trusted and a veteran so I think we sent him. I think they learned from Blount. No way they are this stupid and no way Harrison is going to ruin his legacy. Be very surprised if he signs.

So, your telling me if the Browns kept Haden they be 1-15 instead of 0-16?

Not much of a different result no?

He's signed it's official the Patriots fans are dancing for joy over this one. They'll write another Boston film about Brady's courage and will to win starring Mark Wahlberg next and the fun bunch. Tomlin has got to go....

Very true, but honestly Steelers coaching staff had to known this might happen and they still released him....it's a head scratcher ,kinda like are you serious with this Tomlin ?or maybe Harrison just flat out sucks.

I think they think the old deebo is the bad luck charm against the patriots. Maybe if he goes there, luck will reverse itself.

And that's why you still don't do it. Even if Harrison is terrible you still have to look at his overall record in this case. You bite the bullet and waste the roster spot.
