Just looking at game stats, I’m having a hard time making this into a 34 point game.

Ben 226 yards. Eh, ok, not great.
    Bell 69 yards. Not great.
Ju Ju 75 yards. Not great.
    Bryant 60 yards. Not great.

I still can’t figure out how that made 34 points.

We did do better in the red zone.

You didn't notice that we were playing a bad college team? They had no interest in winning that game.

It's pretty simple really we scored 2 TDs passing and 2 TDs running the ball, with all 4 PATs successful thats 28 points, boswell kicked two field goals for 6 points making the score 34, nix and bell scored the rushing TDs, Ju Ju and hunter scored the passing TDs, so it's easy to see how they scored the 34 points....

It doesnt matter how many yards you get as long as the ones you get puts points on the board, we were efficient between the 20s and in the red zone and that's all that matters, is that deep enough for ya or do you just want to cheapen a nice win???????

A couple of weeks back on the subject of poor red zone scoring or Hayley's predictable play calling I posted the following " When they are 1st and goal from the two I wish we had a power back that would hit it hard with no hesitation.

Or if they are going to an I formation give the ball to Nix, few teams hand off to the lead back, but it catches the D off guard because they are at first read trying to avoid him."

I near freaked out when they handed off to Nix for a easy TD.

Is Hayley reading our posts looking for help lol.

I guess I'll have to work harder to get some more teaching points to Hayley.

    Lol.

As we lined up for that play, I thought: they should give it to Nix here. They never do, but if I was play calling, I’d give it to Ni...

And before I could finish the thought, he was in the end zone.

I love the ball going to the lead back once in a while, they blocked well and you can see the defense's first reaction is to avoid him thinking he is the lead blocker. I saw that play and thought its about time.

Short field and converting .Just goes to show if the Defense plays well and the Offense scores the ball huge stats are not needed to dominate .

Finishing drives is much more Important than how far a team can drive . Not scoring TD'S has been a problem for a long time . If they can fix that they have a great chance to win it all .

BOTH inside linebackers were staring at and flowing towards Bell while Nix was diving into the endzone literally at their feet lol. Great play call

The biggest takeaway from this is how they have improved their red zone efficiency which had been brutal

Well seeing how the Texans had -7 total passing yards at half, I’d wager the high point total/low yardage total ratio was due to having short fields and scoring touchdowns in the RZ. The defense made the game easy on the offense and they took advantage of it.

I’d love to see more of this in the playoffs.
