Not probable, and I think he's the head coach somewhere in 2018, but hey...

Arians is 65 years old. I'm thinking he might be done. But, he's kind of a different Cat, he might want to keep coaching.

If you watched the Football life on him, he thought he was done after being let go by the Steelers (or retiring) mutual parting.

But, Pagano got him back with the Colts, and then he got sick, and it kind of re -took off for Arians there ad got him the job in AZ.

I had no problem with Arians when he was here. He was on a offensive staff here as a QB coach and offensive coordinator, that went to 3 super bowls.

But, fans hated him, but the hate Haley, they hate everybody. Give them the position they will automatically hate the guy.

I read his book- or rather suffered through it- and his retiring for good would not surprise me based on that.

I, for one, would not want him here. And I don't think our FO even throws a glance in his direction.

If Arians retires he will not coach again period, he certainly wont take an OC job, I dont think he will be fired, but if he goes it will be his decision..........

Lot of things would need to fall into place for that to happen.

    Tomlin has to fire Haley
Rooney would need to sign off on it
Ben would need to want to keep playing
Ben would have to convince Bruce to go back to being an OC for one more title run.
    Tomlin/Rooney need to hire Bruce

    Not good odds.

You know Ben would love to have him. I just think Tomlin and Bruce's relationship is too toxic to work.

I also think Ben is going to demand Haley get fired. Or Ben will retire. If that happens, nothing would surprise me.

Arians ain't going any where unless he wants to. They think he's the second coming of God here in Arizona. Plus if they put up with the likes of Buddy Ryan, Dennis Green, Joe Bugle he's in Arizona for as long as he wants.

Arians attitude would never set well with Tomlin now. Besides I think Tomlin has heard enough of the "winning with Cowher's people" stuff. Don't see him going backwards. I wouldn't.

Haley isn't getting fired, but he could get a head coaching job somewhere. That said I still can't imagine him returning to Pittsburgh as OC.
