Want to give him props. 2 weeks ago he played like a 7 yr old who cries when he is about to get hit. Today, he takes on tacklers and stretches for a 1st down. If he plays like that when we get brown back, they will be truly hard to stop.

Since he gets alot of blame when players play bad. I will give tomlin some credit for this change as well

I think he's just getting back to the teamwork aspect of it. Don't think his girlfriend is helping his mindset at home either.

He can be a solid receiver in the league. I've revised my projections down due to some limitations I don't feel he'll be able to overcome in his game, but he can be dominant in what he does well.

He is coming along after all the early season garbage. I like the big bodied receiver, so hopefully he can continue to add some value. Play ball, keep your nose clean and stop crying....should be ok assuming he didn’t completely burn his bridge.

This is the time of year where all the off field stuff all the BS is put on the back burner and it now is put up or shut up. MB is doing that and that is an awesome sight to see, MB - Juju - Bell - JJ and a healthy AB & McDonald watch out. There is no team in this league going to stop this team if healthy!!!!

Agreed. Mcdonald is huge part of this equation. Jesse is a great team guy but Vance is so much more dynamic as a receiver. Jesse played admirable as a stop gap but Vance has to be out there more to take advantage of the space created by the receivers and to get better YAC.

Yeah, he went into the tent was what someone said in the Gameday thread.

James was out there a lot late in the game.

The television crew never mentioned it, but that figures. The guy can play, but he's far too fragile.

Was that before or after Jarvis Landry Jones performed mop-up duties? ;)

He's doing what he's paid to do. He's making good catches and keeping his mouth shut.

The guy we've seen the last two weeks isn't averaging 100 yards a game, but he's demanding way more attention, which helps JuJu, Hunter and the other guys tremendously.

Question about Bryant, He is supposedly 6'4" and is fast. Is he really that fast? It seems most of the time when Ben throws him a bomb, Ben underthrows him and Bryant has to slow down for the ball. Randy Moss was 6'4" and fast as hell. How does Bryant compare to him speed wise?

Bryant has fast straightline speed but is slow as hell in his transitions. Thank god they took him off of kick returning.

I just happy that Bryant has played almost a full season and has not been suspended for smoking dope.

Great to see him put up some numbers yesterday. Just another weapon the other team has to account for. He's not going to be proficient running every route but he will influence the defense with his long ball capabilities. Ted Ginn, Mike Wallace and some younger guys Will Fuller, Tyreek Hill etc have shown you can be a regular starter for that purpose. Let's hope the Alien keeps progressing as these last few games play out.

He's progressing finally. He still has work to do...but I think he could be huge in the playoffs. Especially against the Jags. They will shut Brown down...which means Bryant and JuJu will have to carry us . IMO beating the jags will be tougher then beating the patriots. Unfortunately I think we are getting them which means we need to beat both the Jags and CHeatriots.

Starting to see flashes of his old self though. Nice to see. I think it will take him dedication in the offseason though to get back to being a star. He probably needs to leave Pittsburgh at some point. JuJu looks too good . There's just not enough balls to go around .

The only thing holding Martavis back is Martavis. He’s got to decide if he wants to help the team in the playoffs and get to the Supr Bowl or not. If he ever fixes his attitude, he can be great. But that’s a big if.

Read an article saying he played start to finish. I'm guessing that means he wasn't pulled off the field for medical reasons.
