Force out Big Ben (AKA Not my fault!), dump under performing high dollar dudes and spend whatever is necessary to get Jimmy Garoppolo. Not only is he a franchise QB he knows New England inside and out. This is the move the Steelers must make for the future, the immediate future. Even if JG is too expensive, this is the year for the Steelers to move on Big Baby's replacement. There will be at least four first round draft QBs and quite a number of really good veteran QBs will be available.

Granted, Ben can be a drama baby at times, but force him out ? Ben has done nothing (in my opinion) but perform at a very high level. He made one mistake in that NE game, which unfortunately may of cost us home field advantage. Nevertheless, with the weapons around him, Ben gives us our best chance at winning another SB.

Most of us agree that it’s time to start grooming a QB for the foreseeable future. But I’d be estatic if Ben decides to play for another 1-3 years.

Why would we go after Garrapolo? We already have Dobbs who should have replaced Ben at the beginning of the season. (I almost hit post but upon further thought, I decided I better specify this is only sarcasm)

 

Why pick on Dobbs... Dobbs needs to replace Landry.. Ben will retire and then what?? We need another QB in the running soon. Ben is getting up off the ground slower every week. Problem is we draft #32 this year.. and we need more then just a QB.. ILB, S, CB, TE

 

ben has been looking fine to me.

 

Jimmy G is not leaving SF. They traded for him for a reason. They'll either lock him up long term or franchise him. He's not an option, no matter how good you think he is.
