Just go back and watch the last Super Bowl,the Atlanta Falcons beat the crap out of that team, all they had to do is kneel the ball three times ,kick the field goal and they would have been up by 11 game over, why in their right minds would they pass, get a holding call, then get sacked ,get out of field goal range and give them a chance,is it because Belicheck is a genius, also the same with the Seattle Super Bowl,you have beast mode on the one yard line and you pass, maybe just maybe Belicheck knew it was gonna be that play and set up his players in the right positions.The part you guys got twisted is these owners really don't care who wins as long as the NFL is doing good, when you buy a Steelers jersey with NL logo ,the Cleveland Browns owner is getting paid the same as the Steelers owners, so it doesn't matter to them.The last 10-15 years the NFL is pushing the outcomes of games to get the highest rated games possible.All I'm saying is at times they are playing for real, but they nudge the outcomes for TV ratings,its not coincidence that the last 15 super bowls all are close down to the wireas oppsed to the 90s when they were blowouts and people stop watching after halftime,hence TV sponsors were pissed they spent millions and no one was watching. You make it suspenseful and you keep people tuned in to the last minute.It looks like a sport, you think it is but they have a predetermined outcome of what they want.Guys wake up,there is lots and lots of money involved and when you have that stinky stuff happens, that's all I am saying. I am a builder, and my house isn't selling because another builder is putting in a certain type of kitchen and his houses are selling, I would do the same on the next house. If Belicheck is so great,and we have heard it 1000 times that he takes out opposing teams best player by double teaming him, why wouldn't we do the same thing. Its not that complicated, Gronk on single coverage is like my 9 year old covering me 1 on 1. The only year the Patriots were really good was the year they had Moss and Edleman, all other years they have been getting the help of the NFL, THE Steelers as a team have always been the superior talented team and for all the SCOOBY DOO ,Conspiracy crap people are saying,open your eyes. This years Patriots team is at best an 9-7 8-8 team, but they are getting the help they need to have evry advantage.

I'm sorry but I agree somewhat to the OP. Really good chance that Ben is done after this season what better matchup would be to not have round 2 of us beating the pats in the AFCCCG. Then winning the SB with Ben riding off into the sunset. The Nfl would get the most money and views with this matchup. Just saying

 

The advertising money is already spent meaning the NFL already has the millions from that. Same with the tv contracts, streaming service if the game etc etc etc.

It would be awesome if y'all spent half as much time thinking about these mythical scenarios as you do convincing yourselves they're true.The NFL has nothing to gain and absolutely everythingnto lose.
