Boycott all non Steelers games. I didn't watch SNF for the first time in years and I will not watch tonight.

    Couple things.
I'm thinking that people didn't watch not because of some silly boycott, but because the we're just emotionally spent after the loss to the Patriots.
Also Pittsburgh isn't the biggest tv market so I'm not sure that it's that big of a deal.

You're not really boycotting if you still watch Steelers games. If you're going to boycott that's awesome, then do it. No games at all, don't buy or wear any NFL licensed gear.

SDOT, boycott dude, what is purpose of your boycott? What do you want to accomplish? What does ROg have to do to get you to drop your economic stranglehold on the league? What are your demands?

Those of use not wearing tin-foils hats are curious.

I respect people opinions if they want to boycott, that is what this country is built on have a voice be heard. I am not boycotting cause I don't have to. I use to get pumped for Monday night games and when Thursday night games came it was great. Now I am just not excited as much, heck half the times I start to watch and change the channel. I am not sure if it is cause I am getting older or what but I love football on Saturday and Sunday but not a fan of the weekday night games. Anyways back to the subject, I see nothing wrong with fans expressing their displeasure. The only way you will do it is hitting them in their wallets. You just can't stop watching, you have to stop buying anything to do with the NFL AND their SPONSERS. And you have to do it as a group a handful of people just won't make a difference. jmo.

Did we really need another boycott thread?

We lost. It's time to quit being sore losers and move on.

I had the TV off yesterday to help recover after the most disappointing and disgusting loss ever of a regular season game. Still avoiding sports channels. So not really targeting NFL because of stupid rules, just can`t take any more mentally right now. Maybe some were in the same mindset. I`ll be watching again this weekend.

No we didn't, but I've learned that SDOT is very redundant.

Steelers fans not watching = death of NFL. Keep rigging games for the Patriots.

What love affair? The Pats win because they are a good team. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar corporation and the executives all get paid very, very well. You really think they are dumb enough to tell the refs to favour a certain team? You think the refs wouldn't blow the lid off that thing, or perhaps tell a family member, friend, neighbour, etc. who then reports it. You really think the NFL execs would risk everything just to favour a specific team? Is it really the NFL's doing that Brady made throws when he needed to and Ben ran a stupid, rushed play that resulted in a poor throw? How did the NFL influences that?

Sore losers is not the issue. The issue with ongoing problems with officiating. In what other sport do the referees have so much impact on the outcome of a game?

So I am with the boycott. I did not watch MNF for the first time in decades and will not watch another NFL game on TV unless the Steelers are in it - and then I will probably stream it. EFF the NFL and their impossible rule book. Refs are impacting the outcomes of games every week with questionable calls and missed calls and I am sick of it.

Still a lifelong fan of the team and will always be, but this has gotten out of hand.

I think ratings are low because the product is bad. The endless commercials, the idiotic antics by the players, the penalties, the blown calls. It all adds up.

You've got that right - just spent a week up in Gig Harbor about 6 weeks ago - I'm hooked. I'd avoid the Amtrak commuter train for the time being though.

No doubt. My dad is from Oregon so I spent a fair amount of time out there growing up. That area of the country is hard to beat if you like the outdoors.

I can’t speak for you, but I won’t melt. The days are few and far between I let a little rain stop me from doing something.
