We play Christmas, anyone foresee any struggles here? Who is their qb?

I think Yates but Savage might be cleared. We've had a brutal 3 weeks both physically and emotionally so it wouldn't surprise me if we struggled.

Either or... Yep it's been pretty brutal. No brown makes it worse. Time to get hunter a hat, maybe call up Watson from the PS if Connors a no go. Keep clowney off of Ben we should be good... Definitely don't want to drop one to the Texans or Browns.

Look for weird calls from the officials next Monday. If we lose, it will likely force us down to #3 seed and we will have to play a wild card game. They are aware of Brown’s situation and know he may not be available on Wild Card week end. We would end up playing the chargers or the Ravens. Look for a lot of holding calls and or pass interference. We will have an uphill battle to get through the officiating.

After seeing Savage's hands and arms trembling, I don't expect him to clear the concussion protocol in time to play against PIT.

If we can't beat two teams that are combined 4 and 24. Then shame on us. I feel no sympathy and we deserve no bye week.

That is even without Brown and a very beat up defense. I don't care. Go get two W's

A #2 seed and a bye week, plus a home divisional game isn't anything to slouch at.

No struggles at all. This team is so focused this time of the year. Our first of 5 straight wins.

Yea I don't see them losing either of these next 2 games. They should handle both the Texans and the Browns without much of a problem at all. The Steelers MUST get that number 2 seed at the very worst. Can't afford to go to Jacksonville and New England both. Good news is both times Tomlin has had a bye week in his career with the Steelers he has been the 2 seed and both times he has gone to the Super Bowl. So hopefully that is an omen.

That loss is a blessing in disguise because all of steeler nation completely pissed, and so are the Steelers.

I have been pleasantly surprised to see some emotion from analysists today but I’m so confused as to why nobody wants to back that there is no way there was enough evidence to overturn the call. Frustrates me so badly. I know how the catch rule works!!

I hope your right. If Tyrod and Shady get on a roll, and a real Bills defense shows up, they aren't anything to slouch at either.

Patriots run defense is awful. Shady should go off against them.

And I hope the Bills linebackers and secondary get some old-fashioned vigilante justice on Gronk for that cheap shot he took on their rookie corner.

The Steeelers should win both these games easily. But this one against Houston genuinely worries me for all the reasons above. Could easily see them coming out flat.

They will be fine as long as their defense plays the way it did against the pats..

It doesn't even matter at this point honestly to me. We will blow out the Texans and it will be a meaningless game. Oh and why Ratbirds fans so goddamn happy today? Do they love watching us lose this much? That's another team I hope misses the playoffs and they end up firing Hairball.

In Week 13 of the 2010 season the Jets were smoked by NE 45-3. They beat them in Foxboro in the playoffs. As my old drill instructor would say, let a downfall be your stepping stone. The season ain't over. 11-3 in the NFL is not a bad place to be crushing loss notwithstanding.

Titans beat us in late December 2008. We all remember how that season turned out. Obviously, the Patriots are a different animal.. But, it's not like we ever have success vs them at home anyhow. At least we've seen our front 4 can create pressure, and we could hold our own for a good portion of the game, even without Haden. Something we've never been able to do, but always knew was necessary to beat them.

I’m looking for a silver lining. The Cleveland game for us is still meaningful and we will have to play our starters. Then we can have the bye week to get healthy. If the Cleveland game had been meaningless and we rested our starters it would have been 3 weeks between games of meaning. That would have been a recipe for coming out flat in the first playoff game.
