With due respect SDOT, did you not make a thread about something like this last season pertaining how you were "done with the NFL?" :hmm:

I personally will not watch another NFL game on TV unless the Steelers are in it...

Ben said in an interview after the game that the 3rd down play call came from the sideline.

You had me up until you said Brady had a bad game. The Steelers defense gave him just about everything he could handle and SHOULD of won. I would have much preferred the Steelers end the game by running out the clock, instead of punting. If you punt to the patriots you lose.. we did both.

I'm not try to get anybody worked up, but it gets old listening to these knee jerk reactions. When we had the whole Anthem fiasco there was people who said they were done only to still watch. Same thing when we signed Vick. Now after this game people are threatening to quit watching games.
If you feel you need to quit watching I personally have no problem with that. If you feel that serious about how it affects you then I applaud you for making a stand for something you believe in.
But dang if you say you're going to do it, then do it already. Don't half ass it. It seems pretty weak.

Ben had to lie. Only 1 guy in route on 3rd. down ?If a Coach actually called a fake spike 1 man slant that would be a epic mistake .

Brady had a bad game until they figured out where to get Gronk lined up . When we went zone we got torched. If Brady had Hogan they would have scored 50 .

I can’t agree that Brady had a bad game.. Steelers played better defense this time, surprising I know...

I think we played much better, but it seems it had Brady off a bit til late to me . Another WR who could beat their man would force zone and Brady would torch it .

Yep . The Sunday night Football guys are saying the same thing .

If it was a play from the sideline would have been more than a 1 man route . No D respects a spike on 3rd. down .

Why would Ben care after he blamed himself for the loss? It looked like he called a spike, and audibled to a fake spike, which was completely obvious.. and honestly why would he care, they lost, and also lost home field advantage.

I am not sure why ? but he did say the play came from the sideline for some reason ? Ben called the hot route to Eli and it was the wrong route . Have to run a outside route 1 on 1 to give yourself a chance for the FG at least .

I am not upset with him, a simple mistake , not aware of the down and game situation and in the moment he made the wrong audible .No reason to blame a coach for that .

Yup, pretty much ....I can't believe some people actually thunk league wants the pats to win.....this was just a tough loss, usually happens when you score 0 points in 4th q.

Right, so the sideline called in the play, and Ben made the wrong hot route?

Either way, I want the Steelers to beat the patriots some day!

Idk. But you can't tell me Goodell enjoyed having to hand that trophy to the guy who he crusaded to suspend for 4 games.

    And if we had Haden...
Or if Sutton had started earlier in the year and got up to speed quicker...
    Or if we had Shazier...
Or if Brown was still in the game...

    See? It works both ways.

    Nope you're wrong.
Just heard the interview. Ben said he wanted to click the ball and call came from the sideline to not clock the ball. Ben said the players were set up for the spike and no time to change the play. He was able to get a signal to Eli and he just made a bad throw.

Just about as good as a movie producer hands a movie award to best actor, or average Joe going to cash a million dollar check
