    Good move!

And he quite literally was “tripping” over his feet this past week. And yes, I know what he meant.

I`m happy. It was clear he did not want to do the job.

We seem to be having a constant problem finding a reliable kick returner.

Who’s the options on the team now?

That TD return that got called back sure looked like he belonged. Seems like NFL teams no longer block on coverage anymore since Goodell destroyed the kick off.

Have nobody back there it'll be safer that way . Just let the ball bounce around. It'll be more exciting.

The makeup of our kick return team has changed since that called back-TD.

I’m guessing there are a few that have been hurt that are good blockers. Just can’t find a source for who we’ve been fielding the last 3 games unless I watch all the tape.

Not too disappointed to hear this. He runs backward too often to try to get away/around, and I'm worried he's going to lose yards.

The teams/coaches that take advantage of the rare opportunities in the Kick/Kick-off return game, I truly admire.

Last guy that I thought Pittsburgh had that fit his Title name was Bobby April.

Not counting the last game, thought he looked decent and he did have that TD that was called back.

His speed was worth having him return kicks IMO.

So whos got it now? JuJu?

I would guess yes. Maybe Toussaint. Probably both of them deep.

Everyone cant do that. But, that doesnt make him a bad receiver. Look at S. Holmes

I don't like this. That one KO return should have counted and hasn't happened since when? Solution was simple - Have them stand at the 5 and make them kick it into the endzone. Belicheat is going to kick them short and try to get 5-10 yards on every KO.

I agree for this game. This is just shy of being a playoff game. We need the #1 seed, because going into NE and winning in January will be very, very tough. Put Brown back there for the Pats game and for all playoff games. If he gets hurt, then so be it. It was a gamble that didn't pay off, but in playoff games, you need to field your best lineup and whatever happens, happens. Besides, Brown doesn't have an injury history so I'm not worried about it at all

Cam Sutton returned punts in college, but I'm not sure about KOs. Maybe he gets a shot?? But like others have said, probably JuJu and Fitz.

I thought MB did a good job a couple games ago, but yea, the ratbirds game was a car wreck.

We had special teamers that were hurt...I’m sure Matakevich blocks on KR team...and Vance didn’t finish the game. I don’t know who the Normal KR squad is, but it has to have been patchwork as of late.

    Bad move.

Bryant looked to be the most explosive KR we had. Yeah he had a bad game. But I saw some explosive returns beforehand.

    Toussaint? No thanks.

    Maybe JuJu I guess.

The last Steelers KO return TD was Brown on opening week 2011.

I think it’s a good move for this game. His inability to deal with the kind of kicks he was getting from Tucker was an exposed weakness that NE would target better than anyone. We flirted with disaster back there vs. Balt

Totally agree with this. NE has purposely kicked it short all year to try to pin teams inside the 10 yard line. It would have been more of the same.

If it was another team, I would have given Bryant another chance.

Wasn't this why he replaced Watson to improve ST?

If JuJu's all good to go, I would let him return kicks.

I still remember the line Gene Collier had, about Davenport returning kickoffs...

"It seems the Steeler philosophy on kickoff returns, is to put the slowest, fattest, most out of shape fullback, on deep return, to field the ball, and then jog slowly into the first wall of defenders, then fall down".

Fitz would fit that catagory quite well, and seeing as how he is tomlin's boy, I fully expect Fitz to be back there against the Pats.
Average starting position: 14 yard line.
