    Watching Davis and Mitchell
is like watching the elderly have sex. Ugh How bad is our backups that those two are allowed to keep their starting jobs ?

One of the worst for sure unfortunately. Steelers will have to revamp their defense next year from top to bottom. With exception of the obvious ones like cam, tuitt and watt.

Davis had a rough night for sure but his body of work has been decent. Now Mitchell is another matter.

Mitchell's body is failing him. We'll be drafting a safety for sure. But we sure need depth at the position as well.

Mitchell and Davis are bad no doubt.

But Golden is truly awful, just a teams guy really.

Haven't seen enough of Wilcox to judge his safety play, but he's no peach on teams. Two holding calls last week.

I think we will draft a safety in 1st or 2nd and another one in the 4th or 5th. Need help there badly.

I know we need to lock up Bell and I'm not sure how much we will have to throw around but I'd like to see a guy like Lamarcus Joyner from the Rams come on over. He's only 5'8 but he's been balling out at free safety. Just dont have very much faith in us drafting a good DB.

On one of the Ravens TD, Mitchell was very late getting to the ball when it was a long throw and he was playing deep. I didn't see a replay where it showed where he was before the pass was thrown (so he may have been covering someone else), but it would be interesting to see how he reacted.

Davis was just in the wrong headspace. THat personal foul at the end of the game set up the Ravens last TD and no mistake.

I was screaming this all night, I haven't like MM for awhile now but last night I was done with Davis. The not being able to tackle stuff is bad and Davis showed that last night, MM looked like his feet were running with cinder blocks on them.

This position is not gonna be fixed in the draft, we need a FA in the mix as well. Also as bad as these 2 are Golden makes em both look like all stars. I want to enjoy this win right now but man we are in for an ass kicking next week with these two guys.

The return of a healthy Joe Haden will help tremendously.

In Dallas, Wilcox whiffed on tackles trying for the big hits.

I agree. Is why I been calling for converting someone. They take poor angles and are little to no help over the top. I would rather go Single High with a faster player than 2 deep and neither are very good.

NEXT YEAR? They better start now for this sundays game and the playoffs, it's a given bilichick is going to exploit running the edges after seeing that weakness last night, we better be able to stop the run the rest of the way or it's going to be a short playoff run.....

This. You ride with what you got. The Defense made the crucial stops when needed. I'm concerned about Dupree's play or lack their of. They were running at will on his side. No pass for Tuitt either. Best get this cleaned up. And they need to make a decision on one starter next to Williams. Moats should see the bench. Our best Defense is our Offense. They are getting better and better. Ben looks like the Ben of old and no team should take comfort in a lead. Thank goodness for the No Huddle.

    Two words: Rex Burkhead

This Patriots RB will single-handedly annihilate the Steelers. Brady won't have to do much, but hand the ball off.

Steelers might be better off forfeiting the game and use this week as a bye.

as bad as davis did on some plays, he also did well on others. mitchell is putrid. gay and wilcox need some time on the field and brian allen should have been being groomed. golden is just as bad at safety too. i've preached this for a few years about our safety play.

dupree doesn't show anything as a starter.
gay has played just ok and the age is showing.
    mitchell friggin awful
    golden see above
sensabaugh has his moments but very few
    williams can be upgraded easily
spence and i know he just got here so i'll give him a break for now but.......
wilcox may still be ok as a backup but....
    mccullers why keep him

all these guys need replaced next year. at least 2 safeties need brought in or drafted.

Davis really hasn't been bad all season, but he was horrific last night. The other safety spot is a disaster. Mitchell is broken and Golden sucks. Safety has to be a high priority in the draft next year, along with inside linebacker and tight end.
