Apparently what time your game is played and if Gruden is calling the game to cry about it plays a huge factor.

The crack back was very similar agreed.

Julio didn't tower and taunt after his hit however, NFL was making a statement after all that went down in the Bengals, Steelers game. Had it played out like any normal game, JU JU wouldn't of been suspended a game.

I'd agree but now they dropped the suspension for Iloka which is bound to have the Rooney's at the league offices by the end of the day.

I hate to admit it but Jerry Jones might be right in that Goodell needs to go.

There was no H2H and JJ isn't a Steeler. Either reason is enough to avoid discipline.

Julio’s last three steps before the hit were parallel to his own end line (language from the definition of what makes the other guy defenseless). And it looked like as much helmet-to-helmet contact as 19-on-55.

The NFL is really, REALLY testing my loyalty.

Might be right?? Of course he’s right! Goodell should have been fired long ago. But I suspect the owners will wait too long and more damage is done.

I’d have lawyers on them ASAP. I think the NFL has opened up a can of worms that they will regret.

I don't even think Burfict should have been fined/suspended for that hit in the preseason. It was a rule they just put in to the league this year, and I don't really agree with it. Burfict was within five yards of the LOS

He did stand there and taunt though. He was just smart enough to take one step away before he did it.

I can only bet the difference b/t the Julio Jones hit, Iloka hit and JuJu's hit in the eyes of the league is that Birdfuct was the only one injured. Stupid reasoning by the league but what else would be the difference since they supposedly want to eliminate ALL headshots.

Was he injured? He sure seemed to recover quickly once he reached the tunnel according to an ESPN reporter.

Burfict wasn't injured, he got off the cart and walked into the locker room. I see people talking about taunting. Watch the end of the video above. JJ flexes at him just like Juju did, he just didn't happen to be standing over him. Julio took 4 steps to make a block on a guy 6 yards away from the ball. Vikings player had no chance to make a tackle, Burfict did.

Is Burfict in the protocol now? I doubt it.

Maybe he deserves a Grammy? I mean their season is over. Him being out is more productive for creating the narrative the Steelers are dirty than playing a pointless game. Not like he's missing a playoff game or anything.
