Did I just hear that the Bengal that hit Brown in the head will not be suspended?

Hahahaha. The NFL could not be more arbitrary and capricious with it's punishments if it set that as a goal. What a joke the league has become.

Reduced to a fine. Not sure how they justify that one.

After Goodell having it in for Harrison a few years back, is something like this really a surprise?

It’s his third headhunting offense. But he spreads them out nicely (2013,2015,2017), so ... Plus, he’s on a team full of misunderstood and persecuted angels—straight from Gruden’s lips to my ears.

The NFL is just mad that AB held onto the ball and therefore they won't look at it as a vicious hit.

Like to hear Mr Rooneys response to this..Wish our front office would flex its muscles a bit more when it comes to certain issues...This is a bit ridiculous..Our organization is the model for what everyone else in this league strives to be...Feel like that seems to work against us!

Someone posted s YouTube video in another thread of Don Beebe getting absolutely obliterated...and he held onto the ball. The NFL’s New York Death Star must not have watched it.

The Steelers were the only team the objected to the contract which determined that the commissioner has sole power in determining discipline. Goodell didn’t like it and we are paying for it.

    ridiculous....fined around 35K instead.

But what has been the mantra for the NFL for the past few years....eliminate the head shot. I loved JuJu's hit and was not surprised he got suspended, and as a fan I can live with that. But why call it for one guy and not another?

Agree! Art Rooney III needs to get personally involved in this absolute joke of a decision!! How in the world can they uphold JuJu's suspension and then overturn Iloka's??!! I'm absolutely livid about this pathetic decision and something needs to be done! Iloka targeted the head! JuJu freaking blocked a guy with his shoulder!! Goodgoshomighty!!!!! :frustrated:

I hope that they drug test Burfict because the guy went out twice before Juju hit him which different injuries and even after the hit tried to tear off the restraints so he either has an incredible pain threshold or hd wax jacked up on something.

And as we all are concerned with how inconsistent the big decision makers are, rising from his secret bunker is none other then Rog Goodell with a fresh new extension....

Rooney is a Goodell backer unfortunately. Jerry Jones was right to protest his getting an extension. The league has been a joke under this clown, but, he makes the owners a yacht full of dough. And that's all that matters to them.

Do the Steelers send in video of the game to back up Juju.. Like Iloka aiming for heads on numerous plays all day. Burfict missing Rogers head with obvious targeting on the tackles during the game. Luckily Rogers dove to the ground twice to avoid a concussion. why is the focus on the hits.. It should also be on the attempts in one game to inflict the head to head contact... Burfict and Iloka were out of control.. Juju ended the crap. The Steelers then pay for it.
