Boswell needs to be at least in the conversation for team MVP. He has 107 points and 28 field goals. The team records in these categories are 141 and 34 respectively, both set long ago by Norm Johnson. With four games to go, these are reachable.

I am also wondering where people would rank him as a kicker in franchise history. I've seen them all from Roy Gerela on, and he's way up on my list.

He just replaced Bryant as one of the Killer Bs.

Well, I'd rank him above Gerela who made every PAT an adventure. :lolol:

Is it too early to call him one of the Steelers greats?

He needs to stop missing extra points. He has missed two this season.

That said, Boswell has been amazing. Keep in mind, two of his three missed field goals were blocked, so not entirely his fault.

I can't give him a Killer B, because of the miss PAT, but I do like Big Toe Boswell cause of the game winning long kicks

Before certain things happened- the move back of the goal posts, and then some injury problems which started when he made a big tackle in SB X- Roy Gerela was an all pro kicker.

In my 45 years of viewing, I rate Boswell behind Gary Anderson and Jeff Reed, but only them. He's been extremely clutch.

He's been incredible. When we picked him up (I think we did pick him up, right?) after Suisham and Garrett Hartley went down and Scobee was garbage, I never expected this to happen.

    This is a joke right?

The day a playoff team gives their mvp to a kicker is the day I quit watching football.

I see that Boz spoke out, and said the Bengals tried to injure him before the kick with that little " stick out my foot so you'll kick it" trick. Good for him! Where's the NFL review of this? I saw it immediately on the replay, and it's a clear intent to injure. I guess the Bengal's philosophy is to do so much dirty crap you can't possibly punish them for all of it!
