    For one game

The safety from the bengals was suspended for one game as well.

I said this last night after it happened. No JuJu for the Ravens game.

they just gave JUJu the same punishment that Gronk received for an after the play out of bounds hit to the back of the head that he stated that he did on purpose. Will the Bengals player that hit Brown get it? Who knows but it doesn’t pay to be a Steeler.

I'm okay with it because the NFL has clearly stated that head shots are not tolerated. Juju hit the head and then stood over him and taunted. Iloka also targeted the head. Both need to lower their target point. Guys are dying decades before they should due to these head shots (and others that are still legal, but that's a different topic).

Have to wonder if he would get suspended if Gronkowski didn't.

Like I said in another thread, if it was just Juju's hit and nothing else happened this week, then the league might ignore it. But with Gronk, Iloka hitting the head of Brown, Shazier getting injured and the taunting, I think it was just too much and the NFL decided to just come down on everyone

It would be ok if they had given Gronk, a repeat offender, more than a game. He did it after the play, out of bounds and in his words to retaliate. Does anyone remember Burfict kicking Nix in the head? BS

The JuJu hit and the Gronk late hit are completely different. For that matter the Iloka hit was a launch at a defenseless player, would be worse that what I saw in the Juju hit. The taunt was over the top, but I don't think I've ever seen a player suspended for taunting alone.

If he had a history of that type of hit then I would agree with the suspension. The fact he doesn't kind of ticks me off, but clearly the league is trying to put an end to the crap between the Steelers and bengals. It's one thing to play hard nosed football and another to make hits that could kill someone . Shazier led with his head and might have ended his own career. It isn't the first time for Shazier either. They need to clean it up or it's going to continue to cost the team.

If I'm JuJu, I appeal immediately. This was not a "violent and unnecessary 'blindside' shot".

I don't care JuJu is my hero. And I hope Burfict is still hurting. Eff him and his entire existence.

Has everything to do with consistency, you cannot over punish some players and let others off easy. I’m ok if every helmet to helmet is a one game. It’s not, which is not fair.
