This goes way beyond football. Shazier is a class act, helps out a lot in the community, and you never hear a bad word about him. Throw football out the window, just hope he can walk again.

That sounds very positive. What "could have been" is permanent paralysis. That's on everyone's mind. So he's looking at something better than that. What's better is subjective of course. It doesn't sound like permanent, paralysis though. Will he play again? Who knows. Will he walk again? It sounds like there's a good possibility, whether that happens tomorrow or after many months of rehab, that remains to be seen, but that post definitely hints towards him having future use of all extremities.

Now I can truly enjoy the win and go to bed feeling better about Shazier

He might have fractured vertebrae that is pinching his spinal cord. Hopefully little actual damage to the cord. Just saying no feeling does not have to be permanent. They will know more after a MRI.

Hard to say. He rolled over so his legs moved, but impossible to say how much control he had over his legs. There was also some very small movements, but we don't know if they were voluntary or involuntary movements. Been some relatively positive tweets released about his condition though, thankfully

I truly dont even care, just want the young man to be able to walk again.

Absolutely. Much more enjoyable now. Hope tomorrow (oops, today actually) brings even better news.
