Yeah you right, I am an idiot for thinking the guy whom Is (3-0 lifetime against brady including 2 sbs including biggest choke in nfl history of a perfect season )is better than the guy who can't beat brady at all...I am a yuge idiot maybe I should run for president. ...

I could see that happening too. If he still has the fire to play though, he'll look to go to a contender. If Ben retires, Steelers of course fit that description. Articles are already popping up about it. This guy makes a case for why its a good fit.

If he changes teams, I agree with those two as the most likely landing spots. With a new coach and GM I’m thinking the highest probability is that he is the Giants’ starter in 2018.

He’s not 3-0 vs Brady. I know that he at least lost to Brady in week 17 of the 2007 season 38-35. That was the game where the Pats played everyone to preserve their undefeated season, and the Giants almost got them.

I agree. Cousins is not a stop gap until a new QB matures. He would be Plan A for 5+ years. Manning would a a pure stop gap.

But Ben has taken. Helluva lot more beating than Eli. Eli should have a few more years than Ben due to play style.

Its neither foolish or ridiculous, what would be is not kicking the tires on a proven 2 time SB winner that delivers in the big game. Can you say that about Cousins that will cost a fortune? Nope.

I think Eli would excel with this team if given the opportunity. Not likely to happen so you can rest easy.

Agreed. He will get his money, but probably not much more than Bens current, given age and should be looking for More rings. Probably still NY or Jax, though

Football is a team sport and super bowl wins require a complete team effort. Which makes Super Bowl wins a poor measuring stick. If Manning were a free agent and wanted to continue playing he would cost us at least 20 million a season and he’s at the tail end of his career. He could very easily sign and his skill set has fallen off a cliff. Cousins on the other hand is in his prime and has improved every year. It makes more sense to sign the guy on an upwards career trajectory.

Its not a poor measuring stick in the context of which I meant it. That would be true if I was implying that they won those SB's because of him (I credit the defense more) but there is no denying he showed up for those games. Having a guy you know wont wilt under the pressure is huge.

Id be cautiously optimistic if they signed Cousins. Not entirely sold on him yet but I wouldn't hate it.

I knew someone would post this nonsense, not interested in a 37 year old washed up QB.
